Assassin Comprehensive Guide in Blade & Soul

Blade and Soul Date: Jun/05/18 14:28:12 Views: 5696

Preferring to take things at their own pace, the Assassin is a stealthy sort that differs in most classes that charge in bold and daring. They can control the battlefield like no other, luring enemies into deadly traps before they even know what hit them.

The Assassin whittles away at an enemy's strength with rapid fire attacks that cause bleeding and poison damage, which drain the life from their foes over time. While their razor-sharp Dagger is vital, they also employ explosives, poisons, smoke, and other potent utilities to hobble their enemies.

On top of their ingenuity, they can also use strange martial arts, stealth stance keeps the Assassin hidden from view, allowing them to deal massive amounts of damage on the unsuspecting, and even swap places with enemies in an instant. Many Assassin fans may know, Eternal Night is now live! You can check out the full Assassin 4.5 Patch Notes here.

Collectors of blade and soul gold may know, more so than others, Assassins work best alone. However, their status-altering abilities and damage-over-time effects make them an important addition to any large-scale battle.

Assassin in Play

1) Focus on what:

The Assassin focuses on dealing two types of damage: Lightning and Void. Not all skills will have an associated elemental damage, but those that do will have their damage increased with the selection of the right items; building a focus around these damage types is advantageous in the long run, especially as you get to the end-game dungeons.

2) In a party:

For party play, the Assassin takes on the role of a strong damage dealer, able to easily handle the weaker one-off enemies, or work in concert with the Kung Fu Master or Blade Master to whittle down a Boss Monster's health. The Assassin must be careful to manage their threat, as attracting the attention (and damage) of enemies can leave the Assassin struggling to remain alive, and greatly reduce their effectiveness.

3) In Arena PvP:

In Arena PvP, the Assassin's strength in precision attacks and movements comes into full play. While they're normally unable to execute the full combos that would get them through any PvE situation, disciplined Assassins know how to take control of any situation by effectively using their Stealth and confusion mechanics, or just by taking advantage of opportune moments.
