TERA PVE Guide

Player versus environment, or PvE (also known as player versus monster, or PvM in some communities), is a term used in online games, particularly TERA, to refer to fighting computer-controlled enemies[1]—in contrast to PvP (player versus player). This is a heavily PvE focused guide and will not cover PvP.

Valkyrie: This section is devoted to Player (that's you) vs Environment (anything in the world of TERA that's not another player) or PvE. I will go over each skill in the Valkyrie's arsenal and give you a basic breakdown of the skill. I will also discuss glyphs as well as rotations. When discussing glyphs, I will assume everyone has all the rare glyphs unlocked, as it is not hard to do so. If you haven't unlocked them, I would suggest unlocking them before proceeding too far into this guide.

Gunner: Player versus environment, or PvE (also known as player versus monster, or PvM in some communities), is a term used in online games, particularly TERA, to refer to fighting computer-controlled enemies[1]—in contrast to PvP (player versus player). This is a heavily PvE focused guide and will not cover PvP. First let’s go over the gear that you would want to aim for to avoid any confusion in later information.

Sorcerer: This guide is updated in June 2018 and is intended for both learning and experienced sorcerers. Sorcerer was the first class to receive a revamp and is currently still a very strong DPS class.

Archer: is a high damage ranged class that is simple to learn. It both charges skills for big damage, and uses small fast skills. Archer is considered a consistent damage dealer, unlike sorcerer who is a burst damage dealer. A downside to Archer is its ping reliance. High ping players may notice lower damage than low ping players with similar gear. This is a guide to help you min/max your Archer rotation. This should hopefully help you become a better Archer and rise the DPS ranks!
