The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 x I Know What You Did Last Summer crossover event for Season 5 has been teased, with a first look announced via posts on X on July 19, 2025. This collaboration with Sony Pictures will feature “The Fisherman,” the iconic killer from the 1997 horror film, as a new Operator in Black Ops 6. While official details from Activision or Treyarch are limited as of now, the event is expected to launch with Season 5 on August 7, 2025, coinciding with the Season 4 Battle Pass expiration.

Based on the I Know What You Did Last Summer franchise, expect thematic content such as cosmetics (e.g., Operator skins, weapon blueprints, or calling cards) inspired by the movie’s coastal horror aesthetic, likely centered around The Fisherman’s signature hook. The crossover may include event-specific challenges or rewards, similar to previous Black Ops 6 events like the Beavis and Butt-Head collaboration, which offered free rewards like the Olympia Special and Pickaxe Melee weapon.

Season 5 is also set to introduce the final Zombies map, “Janus Towers,” concluding the Black Ops 6 Zombies storyline, along with new weapons like the MP40 SMG, Boxing Gloves, Chainsaw, and a mysterious “Wand” special weapon. New Operators, including Sims from Black Ops Cold War and codenamed “chocolate” and “jellybean,” are also expected.

No specific gameplay details or a full roadmap for the crossover have been released yet, but further information is likely to drop closer to the Season 5 launch. Keep an eye on official Call of Duty channels or the Season 5 Reloaded blog for updates.
