PoE 2 Quality Currency: Quality on Wand, Staff, Skill Gems, Rings, Flasks, Belt

Quality is a stat that improves the signature stats of an equipment or adds additional bonuses to skill gems. Each item type has a PoE 2 Currency item associated with it that increases its quality.

• Martial Weapons gain 1% more Physical damage per Quality.
• Armours gain 1% more Defences per Quality.
• Rings and Amulets have a number of possible quality types that provide bonuses to specific modifiers on the item.
• Flasks gain 1% more Life and Mana recovery per Quality.
• Charms gain 1% increased duration per Quality.
• Skill Gems or equipment that grant Skills grant a specific bonus to their Skill based on their Quality.

1. Quality On Wand, Quality On Staff

Arcanist's Etcher improves the quality of a wand, staff or sceptre.

• Wands and Staves. per 1% quality: +1% to inherent skill quality
• Sceptres. per 1% quality: 1% more Spirit. +0% to inherent skill quality

The maximum quality is 20%.

Arcanist's Etcher can drop anywhere. Obtained by salvaging wands, staves, or sceptres with quality.

2. Quality On Martial weapons

Blacksmith's Whetstone improves the quality of a martial weapon. Martial Weapons can be used to Attack. Axes, Bows, Claws, Crossbows, Daggers, Flails, Maces, Quarterstaves, Spears, and Swords are Martial Weapons.

• per 1% quality: 1% more Physical Damage

The maximum quality is 20%.

Blacksmith's Whetstone can drop anywhere. Obtained by salvaging martial weapons with quality.

3. Quality On Armour

Armourer’s Scrap improves the quality of an armour.

• per 1% quality: 1% more Defence.

The maximum quality is 20%.

4. Quality On skill gems

Gemcutter's Prism improves the quality of a skill gem.

• per 1% quality: varies by skill

The maximum quality is 20%.

5. Quality On Amulets, Quality On Rings

Catalysts can add special quality types to rings and amulets that enhance the magnitude of modifiers of a specified type.

• Adaptive Catalyst: adds quality that enhances Attribute modifiers on a ring or amulet
• Carapace Catalyst: adds quality that enhances Defence modifiers on a ring or amulet
• Chayula's Catalyst: adds quality that enhances Chaos modifiers on a ring or amulet
• Esh's Catalyst: adds quality that enhances Lightning modifiers on a ring or amulet
• Flesh Catalyst: adds quality that enhances Life modifiers on a ring or amulet
• Neural Catalyst: adds quality that enhances Mana modifiers on a ring or amulet
• Reaver Catalyst: adds quality that enhances Attack modifiers on a ring or amulet
• Sibilant Catalyst: adds quality that enhances Caster modifiers on a ring or amulet
• Skittering Catalyst: adds quality that enhances Speed modifiers on a ring or amulet
• Tul's Catalyst: adds quality that enhances Cold modifiers on a ring or amulet

6. Quality On Flasks

Glassblower's Bauble improves the quality of a flask.

The maximum quality is 20%.

7. Quality On weapons, gems, flasks, and charms

Vaal Orb corrupts an item with unpredictable results.

• Corrupts an item; has a chance to add or remove up to 10% quality from caster weapons, gems, flasks, and charms, up to a maximum of 23%.

Vaal Orb can drop anywhere. Can also be obtained as a possible reward in the Trial of Chaos.

8. Quality on Belt

There is no quality currency item for a belt.
