ARC Raiders Scrappy Upgrades: Levels, Feeding Rewards, and Materials

Scrappy is the Workshop rooster that returns Metal Parts, Fabric, Plastic Parts, Chemicals, Rubber Parts, and Assorted Seeds to Speranza after a raid. Two systems share the same nest: permanent Scrappy upgrades that raise his level to 5, and Flashpoint feeding that spends Nature items so each qualifying raid rolls a food-tied loot pool on top of the basic haul.

What Scrappy Levels Change

Scrappy starts at Level 1. Each upgrade burns a fixed bill of Nature items and residential junk. Higher levels raise the quality of both the passive nest haul and the feeding reward rolls. Unclaimed stacks stop new drops from landing once the nest is full. Flashpoint raised Scrappy storage past the previous 50-item claim cap.

The passive haul covers Metal Parts, Fabric, Plastic Parts, Chemicals, Rubber Parts, and Assorted Seeds. Those basics cover early Workshop station Level 1 bills (Gunsmith Metal and Rubber, Gear Bench Plastic and Fabric, Medical Fabric, Explosives Chemicals, Utility Plastic). Feeding adds a separate food-tied pool on top of that nest loop.

Feeding is available from Level 1. Food sits in a queue on Scrappy's Feed tab in the Workshop. Each item is consumed for one raid. A raid needs at least six minutes topside before that feed counts. The queue accepts several foods ahead, so multiple runs can burn the line without a return to Speranza between every deploy.

46 Prickly Pears; 6 Olives; 1 Cat BedFurther passive and feed scaling
5 (max)12 Mushrooms; 12 Apricots; 3 Very Comfortable PillowsTop feeding reward band

Apricots appear on both the Level 3 and Level 5 bills (3 then 12), for 15 apricots total across the full ladder.

Scrappy Upgrade Materials and Farm Spots

Upgrade parts split into Nature items from outdoor plants and residential comfort items from apartments and village housing.

MaterialNeed for maxWhere it shows up
Dog Collar1 (L2)Residential loot: Dam Pale Apartments and Ruby Residence; Buried City Santa Maria Houses, Plaza Rosa, Grandioso Apartments; Buried City Red Tower runs also surface collars
Lemon3 (L3)Lemon trees: Blue Gate Olive Grove, Village, Ruined Homestead; Buried City Marano Park and Grandioso Apartments edges; Spaceport parking trees behind Arrival
Apricot15 total (3 L3 + 12 L5)Apricot trees: Dam Red Lakes; Buried City Marano Park; Spaceport East Plains; Blue Gate Olive Grove and Village; Spaceport Arrival parking lot trees share lemon and apricot spawns
Prickly Pear6 (L4)Cactus belts: Dam Victory Ridge, Red Lakes, Pale Apartments roadside, Field Depot near Water Treatment Extract, Research Admin outbuilding; Buried City southern outskirts; Spaceport east of Container Storage
Olives6 (L4)Blue Gate Olive Grove olive trees; same grove also holds lemon and apricot trees
Cat Bed1 (L4)Residential: Dam Ruby Residence and Pale Apartments; Buried City Santa Maria, Plaza Rosa, Grandioso; Blue Gate Village, Raider's Refuge, Ruined Homestead, Abandoned Housing Project
Mushroom12 (L5)Damp Dam zones: Hydroponic Dome Complex pools, Formicai Hills, Swamp, Water Treatment riverbanks; Riven Tides dry riverbed clusters after that condition rotates in
Very Comfortable Pillow3 (L5)Same residential loops as Cat Bed
AgaveFeed only (not on upgrade bills)Dry belts shared with prickly pear: Buried City outskirts, Dam open terrain, cactus-adjacent edges

Fruit baskets in outdoor residential and farm pockets can dump several Nature items at once. Scanner pulses mark Nature tags on trees, cacti, and shaded growth. Dam Hydroponic Dome mushroom loops still feed the Level 5 bill of 12. Safe Pocket holds Nature stacks through a failed extract.

How Scrappy Feeding Works

Flashpoint widened the rooster loop: particular foods change which loot types Scrappy can return, and higher Scrappy levels raise the reward band while the queue stays stocked.

Feeding ruleDetail
WhereWorkshop → Scrappy → Feed tab
Queue sizeUp to 6 Nature items (same fruit stacked or mixed)
Consume rateOne food per qualifying raid, front of queue first
Raid timerAt least 6 minutes topside for the feed to count
ClaimPull rewards from Scrappy storage after the raid
Level scalingHigher Scrappy level improves feeding reward quality
BlueprintsFeeding pools return individual items, not blueprints
WeaponsNo weapon drops in the feeding pools

Raid extract value does not reliably raise feeding quality. Food type sets the pool; Scrappy level sets the reward band. Feeding returns finished items only; station recipes still need extracted ARC Raiders BluePrints opened for Learn and Consume. A feed counts once the raid clears six minutes topside, independent of extract value.

Scrappy Feeding Rewards by Food

Each Nature item grants a fixed resource boost category and rolls one item from that food's loot pool. Percentages below are the published pool weights for the headline faces.

Prickly Pear is the food that can return a Snap Hook. Apricot and Fruit Mix are the reactor lanes. Mushroom is the only feed that can return Augments. Agave is the attachment lane, including the Kinetic Converter roll at 0.11% that slots onto stock and ARC Raiders Amplified Weapon frames after Gunsmith Amplification unlocks.

Pool weights below 1% sit behind long queues. A full Feed queue holds up to six of one food; each qualifying six-minute raid consumes one from the front.

Fruit Mix Craft Steps

Fruit Mix is an in-raid craft. It does not craft at the Workshop benches in Speranza. The Survival skill tree needs In-Round Crafting unlocked before the recipe appears topside.

StepRequirement
Skill gateIn-Round Crafting on the Survival tree
Recipe1 Lemon + 1 Prickly Pear + 1 Apricot in inventory together
CraftOpen the in-round crafting menu topside and select Fruit Mix
ExtractCarry the Mix out; feed it from Scrappy's Feed tab later

Blue Gate Olive Grove holds lemon, apricot, and olive trees in one pocket. Dam Victory Ridge and Buried City south cactus belts supply Prickly Pear for the Mix recipe.

Upgrade Path Versus Feeding Path

The two systems share Nature items, so the same Dam and Blue Gate loops supply both bills.

Mushroom pressure12 for Level 5Shield and Augment lane

Food type maps to reward lane: Apricot to gun parts and reactors, Agave to attachments, Mushroom to shields and Augments, Prickly Pear to utility and Snap Hook, Lemon to explosives, Olives to medical items, Fruit Mix to mixed high-tier stacks including reactors.

Nature Stocks Shared Across Upgrade and Feed

Lemons, apricots, prickly pears, olives, mushrooms, and agave sit on both Scrappy upgrade bills and the Feed tab. The same stack can clear a level gate or fill a feed queue; once spent on one job, it is gone from the other.

Dog Collar, Cat Bed, and Very Comfortable Pillows drop on the same residential circuits: Dam Pale Apartments and Ruby Residence; Buried City Santa Maria Houses, Plaza Rosa, and Grandioso Apartments; Blue Gate Village, Raider's Refuge, Ruined Homestead, and Abandoned Housing Project. Those three junk items gate Level 2, Level 4, and Level 5.

New passive drops stop landing while Scrappy storage sits full. A queued feed counts only after a raid of at least six minutes topside; shorter runs leave that food unspent at the front of the queue.

Lemons, apricots, pears, olives, and mushrooms also appear on Workshop station bills outside Scrappy. Those sinks compete with Scrappy Level 3–5 costs and with Feed consumption for the same Nature items.
