In this article, we’ll break down the latest updates, fixes, and events you won’t want to miss. Stay tuned for all the details!

PlayStation Network Recovery and Compensation

Over the weekend, PlayStation experienced a significant outage that affected its network for a full 24 hours. While it was a frustrating situation for many players, PlayStation has since fully recovered, and services are now back online. As a gesture of goodwill, PlayStation Plus members will receive an additional 5 days of service to compensate for the downtime. It's nice to see the community being acknowledged after such an inconvenient period.

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 and Warzone Updates

For Black Ops 6 and Warzone players, several new updates and fixes are on the horizon. Here are a couple of key issues currently being investigated:

  • Zombies Leaderboard Issue: The Zombies leaderboards are showing incorrect stats, only displaying solo performance instead of combined solo and squad stats. Developers are aware of the problem and are working on a fix.
  • Controller Input Bug: Many players have reported a frustrating issue where controller inputs aren't allowing players to swap weapons or apply armor plates. This issue, which has been affecting gameplay since the start of Season 2, is under investigation, and we can expect a resolution soon.

Other ongoing issues include problems with mountaineering, loadout resets, and issues with tax sprinting. Warzone continues to experience bugs that are impacting the gameplay experience, but updates should be dropping soon to address these issues.

Upcoming Content: New Events and Features

This week also brings some exciting new content updates. Starting on February 13th, the Shadow Hunt Event will launch in both Black Ops 6 and Warzone. This event will feature 7 unique rewards, which can be unlocked by completing specific challenges. One of the highlights is the new TR2 Marksman Rifle, and fans have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of this weapon. Additionally, expect the Binary Trigger Mod for the Tanto.

Valentine's Day Special Updates: Call of Duty isn't skipping out on the holiday this year. Expect to see new Limited-Time Modes (LTM) like the Third Wheel Gunfight mode, where you can engage in 3v3 combat instead of the usual 2v2. Plus, Couples Dance Off will offer various 2v2 modes such as Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Kill Confirmed. It’s a fun way to spice things up for duos this Valentine’s Day.

Season 2 Reloaded Preview

The big update for Season 2 Reloaded is just around the corner, dropping on February 20th. Leading up to that, expect marketing reveals starting on February 13th. These teasers will give us our first look at new weapons, modes, and possibly a sneak peek at Verdansk! This is shaping up to be an exciting time for players, with plenty of new content to explore.
