If you have been farming Diablo 4 Season 14 for a while, there is a good chance the current farming routine has already become muscle memory. For many players, the Rupture → Realmwalker → Deathtoll Chamber → Corrupted Reaper loop has become a reliable way to keep progression moving while making good use of seasonal resources.
With Season 15 getting closer, though, it is time to ask whether that same routine will still be worth following. The answer probably will not be a simple yes or no. The core farming strategy from Season 14 should remain useful, but some of the activities that currently make the loop efficient could lose their position once Season 15 introduces new systems and rewards.
Why the Season 14 Farming Loop Works
The biggest strength of the Season 14 farming method is that it connects several activities instead of relying on one source of rewards. A typical session can move between Ruptures, Realmwalker, Deathtoll Chamber, Corrupted Reaper, and Helltide, with each activity helping prepare you for the next part of the cycle.
Ruptures are often a strong starting point, especially when you prioritize higher-value options such as Surging and Colossal Ruptures. The goal is not simply to find the activity with the biggest individual reward, but to balance rewards against the time required to complete it.
Realmwalker can then be incorporated into the route whenever it becomes available. Rather than stopping your entire farming session to focus on the event, treating it as part of the larger route helps reduce downtime and keeps your character moving between objectives.
Deathtoll Chamber plays a different role because it can help maintain the resources needed for later activities, particularly when farming Superior Lair Keys. This makes it more useful to think about the chamber as part of a resource pipeline rather than judging its value from one run alone.
Corrupted Reaper is effectively one of the payoff stages of the cycle. Since it consumes resources, however, constantly running it without replenishing those materials can eventually make the entire farming session less efficient. Helltide helps fill that gap by providing another opportunity to collect resources between major activities.
What Could Change in Season 15?
Season 15 introduces several systems that could change how players decide where to spend their time. The most important question is not whether the existing activities disappear, but whether they remain the most efficient options compared with the new content.
Several changes deserve particular attention:
Because the final balance can still change before Season 15 launches, it is too early to say that any one of these systems will definitely replace the current farming meta. What is clear, however, is that players will have more factors to consider when building their daily farming route.
Will Ruptures Still Be Worth Farming?
Ruptures are unlikely to suddenly become useless, but their position in the farming hierarchy could change.
If Challenge Dungeons or another Season 15 activity provides better progression, more valuable rewards, or a stronger resource return for roughly the same amount of time, players will naturally move toward those options. The same applies to Deathtoll Chamber. If the importance of Superior Lair Keys changes, the chamber may no longer be as essential to the overall resource pipeline.
This is why the biggest threat to the Season 14 farming loop is not necessarily that its individual activities become bad. Instead, their opportunity cost could become too high compared with the alternatives available in Season 15.
Which Season 14 Habits Should You Keep?
Even if the exact farming route changes, several lessons from Season 14 should remain useful throughout the new season.
Prioritize efficiency. Faster clears generally allow you to complete more valuable content during the same farming session.
Manage resources carefully. The best activity is not always the one with the biggest immediate reward. You also need to consider what it costs and what it helps you access next.
Compare activities by time investment. A reward is less attractive if it requires significantly more time than another activity with a similar return.
Build a connected farming route. Activities become more valuable when their rewards help fund or prepare for the next stage of your session.
These principles should remain useful regardless of which activity becomes the new Season 15 meta.
Should You Copy the Season 14 Loop in Season 15?
I would not recommend entering Season 15 and immediately following the exact Rupture → Realmwalker → Deathtoll Chamber → Corrupted Reaper route without testing the new content first.
The smarter approach is to keep the logic behind the route while being willing to replace individual activities. Start by identifying which Season 15 activities provide the best combination of progression, rewards, and resource efficiency. From there, build a new farming cycle around those results.
Season 15 may not completely kill the Season 14 farming meta, but it could change the value of each step. Ruptures may remain useful, Realmwalker may still fit naturally into your route, and Corrupted Reaper could continue to be an important resource sink. However, if new activities provide better returns, there will be little reason to follow the old route simply because it was efficient in Season 14.
For now, the best strategy is to finish Season 14 with an efficient resource cycle while keeping an eye on the new systems coming with Season 15. When the new season arrives, keep the farming logic, but be ready to replace the activities that no longer provide the best return.
