Fallout 76 Vintage Alcoholic Beverage Guide – How to Find & Craft Them Fast

If you've ever opened your daily or weekly challenges and seen “Consume a Vintage Alcoholic Beverage”, you probably thought, Great… now where do I get that?  
The good news: once you know where to look (and how to make your own), this challenge is quick and easy. Here's my personal step-by-step method that works every time.

What Counts as “Vintage” Alcohol?

Vintage drinks aren't a special loot category—they're just regular alcoholic beverages that have fully fermented. Once the condition bar is empty, they're considered vintage.

Two drinks I use for this challenge:

• Vintage Mire Magic Moonshine
• Vintage Nukashine

Step 1 – Grab Mire Magic Moonshine at Sunday Brother's Cabin

This is my go-to farming spot because it's fast, safe, and always has a few bottles—unless another player beat you to them.

Location: The Mire, Sunday Brother's Cabin

Pro Tip: If bottles are missing, server hop until you see them.

Step 2 – Speed Up the Vintage Process

By default, fermentation takes about 2 hours.  
If you've completed Wasted on Nukashine, you can craft a Fermentor at your CAMP, which cuts the time in half to 1 hour.

Fast-Track Method:

1. Pick up Mire Magic Moonshine.
2. Drop it in the Fermentor.
3. Do other challenges or events for an hour.
4. Drink it when the timer is up.

Step 3 – Craft Your Own Vintage Nukashine

If the cabin is looted dry, I just make my own vintage drink. Here's how.

You'll Need:

How to Brew & Age Nukashine:

1. Use a Brewing Station at your CAMP.
2. Craft Nukashine using the recipe from Wasted on Nukashine.
3. Let it ferment naturally (2 hours) or use the Fermentor (1 hour).
4. Drink it once it turns vintage.

Step 4 – Bonus Source: Moonshine Jamboree

The Moonshine Jamboree public event sometimes rewards bottles of Mire Magic Moonshine. If I'm short on drinks, I'll run it a couple of times—it's fun and drops other useful loot.

1. Main Building – Mounted Yao Guai Head

• Go behind the reception desk.
• Look inside the Yao Guai's mouth — 1 bottle of Mire Magic Moonshine.

2. Main Building – Upstairs Bedroom

• Head upstairs, first door on the right.
• On a small table next to bunk beds — 2 bottles.

3. Outside – Behind Barn

• Go down the stairs outside.
• Under the wooden shack — 2 bottles.

Tip: Total = 5 bottles per server. If missing, server hop.

Fastest 5-Minute Daily Challenge Route

1. Fast travel to Sunday Brother's Cabin in The Mire.
2. Grab all 5 bottles of Mire Magic Moonshine from the three spawn points.
3. Drop them into your Fermentor at CAMP.
4. Set a 1-hour timer while you do other events.
5. Drink one vintage bottle → challenge done.
