ARC Raiders Players Are Grinding This OP Budget Weapon Here’s the Fastest Rascal Blueprint Farm

In ARC Raiders has introduced one of the hottest new weapons in the game: the Rascal. This Rare-tier grenade launcher has quickly become known as the budget version of the Hullcracker thanks to its powerful ARC armor penetration and relatively cheap crafting cost.

Players are already using it to melt heavily armored enemies like Shredders without risking expensive Exotic weapons. The problem is actually getting it.

Unlike standard gear, the Rascal cannot be purchased directly from vendors. To unlock it permanently, players must first find the extremely rare Rascal blueprint and craft it through a Level 3 Gunsmith workbench.

The Rascal blueprint belongs to the game’s dynamic loot pool, meaning it is not tied to a single fixed spawn location. However, experienced players have discovered that some containers have significantly better drop chances than others.

Whenever a Hurricane appears in matchmaking, queue immediately.

Hurricanes trigger high-tier emergency loot states across the map, increasing the chances of Rare weapon blueprints spawning inside Raider Caches and secure containers.

For many players, this is currently the best farming window in the game.

2. Night Raid Mode

If no Hurricane is active, choose Night Raid matchmaking instead.

Night runs feature lower visibility and more dangerous AI encounters, but the reward scaling is noticeably higher. Secure lockers and weapon cases seem to have improved blueprint odds during night deployments.

Best Maps and Farming Routes

Different maps support different farming styles. Right now, two maps stand out above the rest.

Riven Tides – The Safe “Beachcombing” Route

Riven Tides is considered the best overall farming map because of its excellent container density and safer traversal routes.

The community-favorite strategy is called Beachcombing:

Spawn near the coastline
Check shipwrecks and shoreline lockers
Loot exposed shipping containers
Move inland only when necessary
Extract immediately if the blueprint drops

This route minimizes PvP encounters while still letting players check a large number of loot containers quickly.

Buried City – High Risk, High Reward

Buried City offers a more aggressive farming experience.

Before deploying, equip the Security Breach perk. This allows instant access to encrypted military chests and reduces the time spent exposed during lockpicking.

The map contains:

Underground bunkers
Military enclaves
Encrypted chests
High-tier lockboxes

While PvP pressure is much higher here, the concentration of premium loot containers makes it one of the strongest blueprint farming locations in the game.

Once you finally secure the blueprint, crafting the weapon is surprisingly affordable compared to other high-performance launchers.
