MapleStory Classic World: 1st Job Skill Build Guide

MapleStory Classic World gives players 61 Skill Points to use during the first job stage from level 10 to 30. These points are important because every class has different skills and priorities, so the order of investment can affect how smoothly a character levels. Warriors need to balance HP and accuracy, Magicians focus on magic damage and MP management, Bowmen rely on ranged attacks and critical damage, while Thieves can choose between claw and dagger builds. Having enough MS Classic World Mesos for weapons, potions, and other basic supplies can also make the early leveling process easier.

Warrior 1st Job Skill Build

The Warrior first job focuses on strong physical attacks, accuracy, and HP-related skills. Swordsmen need to balance their HP and accuracy while building their main attacks. Start with 1 point in Power Strike, followed by 3 points in Improved HP Recovery to unlock Max HP Increase. Continue building Power Strike until it reaches 7 points, then invest in Precise Strikes. Precise Strikes should eventually reach 15 points because the accuracy it provides is important for early leveling. After that, finish Power Strike at 20 and begin developing Slash Blast. The remaining points can be placed into Improved HP Recovery and Max HP Increase before finishing Slash Blast. The final 61-point build is Power Strike 20, Precise Strikes 15, Slash Blast 20, Improved HP Recovery 3, and Max HP Increase 3.

Magician 1st Job Skill Build

Magicians have several skills that can be useful during the first job, so the points should be placed carefully. Start with 1 point in Energy Bolt, then invest in Improved MP Recovery as the character progresses. Improved MP Recovery is needed before building Max MP Increase, so it should be developed early. Max MP Increase can then be raised to 15 to improve the character’s MP pool. Energy Bolt can be developed to 20 as the main early magic attack. Magic Claw is also available after putting the required point into Energy Bolt, while Magic Guard provides another defensive option. A practical 61-point setup is Energy Bolt 20, Improved MP Recovery 15, Max MP Increase 15, and 11 points in Magic Guard. Players who prefer Magic Claw can adjust some points based on their preferred early leveling style.

Bowman 1st Job Skill Build

Bowmen can now use Power Knockback during the first job, which gives them another option for controlling enemies at close range. Start with 1 point in Arrow Blow and build it toward 20 as the main early attack. The Eye of Amazon should then be raised to 15 to improve the Bowman’s ranged combat. Critical Shot is another important skill and should reach 15 points. After the main offensive skills are finished, the remaining points can be invested in Focus and Power Knockback. The final build uses Arrow Blow 20, The Eye of Amazon 15, Critical Shot 15, Focus 10, and Power Knockback 1. This distribution keeps the main ranged skills strong while still giving the Bowman useful utility during the first job.

Assassin 1st Job Skill Build

The Assassin build centers on Lucky Seven, Keen Eyes, and Nimble Body. Start with 1 point in Lucky Seven, then develop Nimble Body and Keen Eyes as the character gains more Skill Points. Lucky Seven should eventually reach 20 because it is the main throwing attack for the Assassin path. Keen Eyes should also reach 15 to improve throwing range, while Nimble Body can be raised to 15 for its useful passive effect. After these main skills are completed, the remaining points go into Disorder and Dark Sight. The final 61-point distribution is Lucky Seven 20, Keen Eyes 15, Nimble Body 15, Disorder 3, and Dark Sight 8. This build gives the Assassin a strong throwing attack while keeping the important passive skills at their maximum first-job levels.

Bandit 1st Job Skill Build

Bandits follow a different skill route because Double Stab is their main first-job attack. Start by building Double Stab to 20, then invest in Nimble Body until it reaches 15. Disorder is required to access Dark Sight, so the skill needs to receive its required points before Dark Sight is developed. Raise Dark Sight to 20 because it provides useful utility for the Bandit during leveling. After Dark Sight reaches its maximum, place the remaining points into Disorder. The final 61-point distribution is Double Stab 20, Nimble Body 15, Dark Sight 20, and Disorder 6. This route keeps the dagger attack strong while giving the Bandit maximum Dark Sight and the required Disorder investment.

1st Job Skill Build Tips

The first job is an important stage for every MSCW character because the 61 Skill Points gained from level 10 to 30 need to be used carefully. Each class has a different priority, so there is no single skill order that works equally well for every character. Warriors benefit from strong physical attacks and accuracy, Magicians need to manage their MP and magic skills, Bowmen focus on ranged damage, and Thieves need to choose between Assassin and Bandit builds. Players who want to make this leveling stage easier can also use cheap MapleStory GMS Mesos for weapons, potions, and other basic supplies without changing their planned skill progression.
