Once the racing begins, your team will be matched against three other teams. The competition is decided by medals earned at the end of each of the three races. The points for the first two races are typically distributed as follows:
1st Place: 10 Medals
2nd Place: 8 Medals
3rd Place: 5–6 Medals
4th Place: 3–4 Medals
The third race is the "deciding" round because the medal rewards are doubled. This basically really only means the winning team in the final race earns 20 medals, which can often catapult a team from last place to first place overall. Because of this, the most successful strategy is to conserve your flags during the first two days. If your opponents are burning through their resources to win Race 1, let them. By saving your flags for the double-medal finale, you can dominate the leaderboard when it matters most.
To give your team the best chance of securing the top rewards, try these useful strategies during the race:
The Last-Minute Push: Many competitive teams choose to save their Flags until the final 15 minutes of a race. This strategy prevents opponents from having enough time to react and overtake your team before the round ends.
Multipliers and Luck: The Dice Popper allows players to use multipliers, and the best way to maximize points is to activate higher multipliers when the Lucky Rocket bonus is available. This can help turn your rolls into higher results like 4s, 5s, or 6s.
Communication: Team coordination is essential for success. If one teammate has already pushed the vehicle far ahead, other members should consider saving their Flags for upcoming rounds. A common mistake is using too many resources to win a race that is already secured, leaving the team at a disadvantage in the final round.
