In order to make the 4-player racers minigame got even better in Monopoly GO! The game offers an exciting new way to take on the track, and a booster that’s guaranteed to shift the race into high gear, this update is introducing two new additions that are sure to shake the track up. Without further ado, let’s take a look!

Solo Mode

For those familiar with Racers, it's a minigame where smart teamwork meets fun competition. But now you can opt into playing Snow Racers on a one-person team instead of partying up with three others! If you like playing the Tycoon Racers events in Monopoly Go but often find yourself feeling let down by teammates who don't quite pull their weight when it comes to earning and spending flags for the team, you can instead opt into being the master of your own Racers' destiny!

To choose to play by yourself instead of with a team, simply tick the slider at the bottom of the partner invite screen that says "I want to play solo!" When you toggle the button for this option, you'll receive a pop-up asking if you're sure of your decision. To confirm, click the orange "Race Solo" button at the bottom of the pop-up, and the game will instead put you on a team of one, pairing you with other solo racers instead of making you hope to compete in a one-versus-four-player Tycoon Racers event.

But, be ready - once the first race begins, your choice will be locked in, and you won’t be able to switch between Modes! While the goals of Solo Mode stay the same, solo players will earn different rewards than team racers. Where team players earn a Wild Sticker and a purple sticker pack, your top prize includes a blue and pink sticker pack instead.

Lucky Rocket Booster

The Lucky Rocket is an invaluable booster in Monopoly GO Racers event, designed to give players a significant edge. When activated, it guarantees your next dice roll will result in high numbers, with each of the three dice rolling between 4 and 6. This ensures a total roll of 12 to 18, making it easier to rack up points and advance further on the game board.

One of the standout features of the Lucky Rocket is its team-wide benefit. When a player activates the boost, every team member enjoys the enhanced dice roll during their next turn. This makes it a strategic asset for coordinated team play, helping everyone move faster and earn more rewards.

When you’ve activated a Lucky Rocket boost, it’s a good time to raise your flag multiplier — provided you have enough extra Flag tokens. Since the Lucky Rocket guarantees a dice roll between 12 and 18, you can bring in a decent number of points on your next turn. Remember, you can only have one Lucky Rocket at a time, so use it wisely.

At the time of writing, Lucky Rockets are obtained as lap rewards during races. The more laps you complete around the board, the more opportunities you'll have to earn Lucky Rockets.
