With the COD Black Ops 6 release date approaching, many players want to know which game props and rewards will be transferred from MW3 and previous beta versions. While this new entry marks a return to a fresh start, there are still some elements that will carry over. Here's everything you need to know about what will and won't transfer to Black Ops 6.
The Frank Woods Operator Skins are the only items transferring from MW3 to Black Ops 6. Players who pre-ordered MW3 had access to several skins, including Classic, Zombies, and Numbers Woods, which will be available in Black Ops 6. These skins are iconic and will allow players to bring some familiarity into the new title. However, other bonuses from MW3—such as the Reflect 115 Weapon Camo—will not transfer.
If you've accumulated COD Points during MW3, these will transfer to Black Ops 6, but there's a catch. The COD Point transfer is platform-dependent. This means if you have 1,000 COD Points on PC, those points will only carry over to Black Ops 6 on PC. If you play on multiple platforms, your COD Point totals will remain separate.
Players who participated in the MW3 beta will see their beta rewards transfer into Black Ops 6. These rewards include items like the Beta Tester Emblem, Beta Tag Spray, No Bugs Charm, Quick Draw Emote, Squish and the Squash Operator Skins, Truth Lies Loading Screen, Beta Expert Calling Card, and the Bug Smasher XM4 Blueprint. If you earned these during the beta, they'll be available on day one of Black Ops 6.
Like previous Call of Duty titles, Black Ops 6 will feature campaign challenges. Rewards earned from completing these challenges will transfer to the multiplayer and zombies experiences. This ensures that any hard work put into the campaign mode will be reflected in other game modes.
While not officially confirmed, there's speculation that Battle Pass XP from the MW3 pre-season could transfer to Black Ops 6. In previous games, such as the Black Ops 6 beta, XP earned counted toward the MW3 Battle Pass progression. There's hope that a similar system will apply this time, though we'll need to wait for confirmation.
Unfortunately, most in-game content from MW3—including maps, modes, weapons, skins, blueprints, and camos—will not transfer to Black Ops 6. This is due to the game's fresh continuity and setting, which takes place in the 1990s. For instance, MW3's futuristic Halloween skins won't fit into the historical setting of Black Ops 6.
Another area where things won't carry over is COD HQ. Items like Calling Cards, Emblems, and XP Tokens earned in MW3 will not transfer to Black Ops 6. While COD HQ was initially introduced to offer shared progression, it appears that Black Ops 6 will handle these elements separately, similar to how past titles like Black Ops Cold War and Modern Warfare 2019 functioned.
One of the biggest integrations players can expect is the future Black Ops 6 x Warzone crossover. Items and rewards from Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3, such as camos, operators, and battle pass content, will remain available in Warzone. However, these items will not be usable in the standalone Black Ops 6 multiplayer or zombies modes. This integration ensures that players can still enjoy their favorite Modern Warfare content in Warzone while diving into the fresh experience of Black Ops 6.
