Although Epic resolved a series of bug fixes for Battle Royale, Creative Mode and Save the World in the v8.40 update released a few days ago, there are still some bugs and glitches have been plaguing Fortnite Battle Royale such as trap placement glitch, ghost audio glitch and more. And with the World Cup fast approaching, fans are eager to see many bugs and issues resolved in the future. Here are all confirmed bug fixed and changes of the upcoming V8.50 Fortnite Battle Royale update according to an Epic employee.

Fortnite V8.50 Bug Fixes and Changes

1. Ghost audio glitch

Since the v8.30 update, players have been experiencing a ghost audio bug. This bug causes players to hear a player reload the audio, switch weapons, or be shot by a sniper rifle when no one is nearby.

According to MrPopo who is a Community coordinator at Epic Games, Sean Hamilton, Epic will be patching the bug with the v8.50 update which is coming on April 23 or 24.

2. Trap placement glitch

The player who typically uses a spike trap to cause significant damage to his opponent will be pleased to hear that the recent bug that caused the item to be placed in the middle tile of the box instead of the wall will eventually be repaired.

The issue causes the player to lose health, even though they are on the other side of the trap and allow some players to escape the danger mistakenly, but there should be no such issue after implementing the latest patch according to Epic.

3. Weapon pickup changes

It has been confirmed that Epic will reset the swap function that was not implemented correctly, causing players to accidentally dropping the weapons they want to keep in their inventory.

The mechanic designed to allow players to exchange their currently held weapons by holding down the button instead of clicking on it, but the feature did not work as expected, but the upcoming fix should solve the problem.
