Happened to me on February 18 when Season 8 Week 3 dropped. I spent twenty minutes in the operator menu before a buddy in Discord finally typed “It’s Stinger, dude, translation glitch again.” Once I switched to Roy Smee I went from frustrated to addicted in three matches. Fifteen hours and four Warfare sessions later I had the 30k locked, and honestly it felt better than most wins I have had this year.
I started blind, running random loadouts and dying fast because I was trying to frag like an Assault guy. By match six I was sitting at around 4k points and ready to quit. Then I forced myself to stay alive, pop heals on teammates, drop smoke when the push came, and suddenly the score was climbing like crazy. One game I hit 11,200 points just by keeping the squad up during a brutal Domination hold on the new Morphosis map. Not some magic number on a spreadsheet – I watched the counter tick in real time and it felt earned.

Stinger is a Support operator through and through, and that is why he is perfect for racking up score without needing 40 kills. I chose the Hive-Tech Pistol first because the instant heal on a downed teammate gives huge merit points plus the revive itself. The smoke grenades are there because they let me push objectives safely and keep the team alive longer, which translates straight into more points per minute. I went with the MP7 because it has crazy mobility for a Support class – you can reposition fast to heal without getting pinned down.
Here is the exact setup I landed on after testing across ten matches:
| Slot | Choice | Reason for Choice |
|---|---|---|
| Primary | MP7 with short barrel and extended mag | Fast TTK up close so I can defend the healer role and still contribute kills when needed |
| Secondary | Hive-Tech Pistol | Instant team heals that give the biggest single score bumps in the game right now |
| Gadget | Hive-Tech Smoke Grenade | Creates safe zones for revives and objective plays – score multiplier in chaotic Warfare |
| Trait | Expertly Rescue | Full HP on revive means teammates stay in the fight longer and I keep earning |
All of this lines up with the official Season 8 patch notes from February 3 and the community score trackers that popped up the same week. Nothing pulled out of thin air.

Queue Warfare (Domination or Team Deathmatch both work), lock in Stinger, and play three full matches back to back. After each one write down your final score, number of heals, and revives. Aim for at least 8k-10k per match by focusing on staying with your team and using the pistol the second someone goes down. My average across those test runs was 9,800 points per match. Do the same three and you will see the pattern – the more you heal and revive, the faster it adds up. Takes maybe an hour total and you will know exactly how close you are.

This is not a frag-chasing setup. I always stay within 15-20 meters of at least two teammates because lone healing gets you killed and zero points. I never push a flag alone if the enemy has more than two players there – smoke and fall back instead. The big boundary is greed: do not chase kills when your team is low on health. One extra revive is worth more than two solo kills in the long run for this challenge. Respect that and the 30k comes naturally; ignore it and you will still be grinding at 15k after five matches.
Look, I still enjoy the grind most nights, but sometimes I have only an hour and I do not want to spend it unlocking attachments or farming for a decent MP7. A lot of the operators I squad with quietly grab the resources they need so they can jump straight into the challenge instead of scraping by. That is where buying Delta Force Tekniq Alloy on U4GM.com has saved me more evenings than I want to count – clean, fast, and lets you focus on the actual fun.
After all the confusion, the deaths, and the eventual 30k pop-up, this Honeydew (Stinger) challenge ended up being one of my favorite parts of Season 8 so far. It forces you to play the support role the way it was meant to be played and the score rewards feel fair. The Morphosis season is still fresh as of February 25 and these weekly missions keep things spicy.
Drop your current score or your own Stinger tricks below. I am reading every one and I will probably steal the good ones for my next session. Good luck out there – see you on the objective. For the team.
