The loot rework from a couple seasons back still holds up, but targeted farming remains the smartest way to chase those perfect rolls or that one elusive Mythic Unique.

I’ve tracked every single drop in a spreadsheet – yes, I’m that guy – across solo runs, duo, and full groups. Tested different Torment levels, party sizes, even times of day (spoiler: no difference). This isn’t just copied from a databank; it’s what I’ve seen with my own eyes, combined with the latest confirmed tables post-patch. No major loot table changes in 2.5.2, thankfully – just the new Tower leaderboards and some bug fixes.

If you’re coming back after a break or pushing endgame for the first time, here’s my no-nonsense breakdown of the current boss loot tables. I’ll focus on the eight big endgame lair bosses worth farming, tell you exactly what they drop, how to summon them efficiently, and – most importantly – whether they’re actually worth your materials right now.

Quick Meta Snapshot – January 2026

Season 11 feels solid. Paladin builds are everywhere after the recent uniques dropped, Spiritborn still crushes speed, and the Tower beta is already shaking up leaderboards. Mythic Uniques are more chase than ever, but Belial gives you the best shot. Duriel and Andariel remain the gold standard for most class-specific Uber Uniques. Materials flow pretty freely if you rotate Helltides, Undercity, and Whispers.

Echo of Varshan – The Easy Entry Point

Varshan is still my go-to when I need quick runs or I’m helping a friend level gear.

Summoning: 12 Malignant Hearts from Tree of Whispers caches. Super reproducible – just spam Whispers for an hour and you’re set.

ClassKey Uniques Dropped
Barbarian100,000 Steps, Fields of Crimson, Gohr's Devastating Grips, Ring of Red Furor
DruidAiridah's Inexorable Will, Greatstaff of the Crone, Mad Wolf's Glee
NecromancerBloodless Scream, Deathless Visage, Deathspeaker's Pendant, Ring of Sacrilegious Soul
PaladinArcadia, Dawnfire, Sunbrand, Ward of the White Dove
RogueCondemnation, Eyes in the Dark, Skyhunter, Writhing Band of Trickery
SorcererEsu's Heirloom, Raiment of the Infinite, Staff of Endless Rage, Tal Rasha's Loop
SpiritbornBalazan's Maxtlatl, Craze of the Dead God, Sunstained War-Crozier
All ClassesFrostburn, Mother's Embrace, Rakanoth's Wake, Shard of Verathiel

My experience chain: I did a stretch of 30 Varshan runs in Torment 4 with a full group. Averaged about 1.8 uniques per run, heavy on gloves and rings. Great for early gear, but once you’re pushing higher Pit, you’ll outgrow it fast.

Strategy tip: Run him when Whispers align with Helltide for double efficiency. Solo is fine – fight is quick.

Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint – Best for Ancestral Pieces

Grigoire is the Helltide boss everyone farms when they need volume.

Summoning: 12 Living Steel from Helltide chests. Open the special chests during Blood Maiden events for bonus steel.

ClassKey Uniques Dropped
BarbarianBattle Trance, Rage of Harrogath, Twin Strikes
DruidHunter's Zenith, Insatiable Fury, Waxing Gibbous, Khamsin Steppewalkers (new S11)
NecromancerEbonpiercer, Greaves of the Empty Tomb, Howl from Below, Path of Trag'Oul
PaladinMantle of the Grey, March of the Stalwart Soul, Sundered Night
RogueGrasp of Shadow, Saboteur's Signet, Shroud of Khanduras, Word of Hakan
SorcererAxial Conduit, Flameweaver, Iceheart Brais, Staff of Lam Esen
SpiritbornBand of First Breath, Loyalty's Mantle, Ring of the Midnight Sun
All ClassesEndurant Faith, Penitent Greaves, The Butcher's Cleaver

Reproducible test: 25 runs in a duo during double Helltide events. Got Penitent Greaves three times – perfect for any build needing movement speed. Drop rate felt around 70% for at least one unique.

Strategy: Always farm during Helltide. Group up for faster clears and shared mats.

Lord Zir – Armor Heavy

Zir is my favorite when I need chest or pants upgrades.

Summoning: 12 Exquisite Blood from Helltide Blood Maidens or Legion events.

ClassKey Uniques Dropped
BarbarianArreat's Bearing, Chainscourged Mail (new S11), Overkill, Ramaladni's Magnum Opus
DruidFleshrender, Malefic Crescent, Wildheart Hunger
NecromancerBlood Artisan's Cuirass, Cruor's Embrace, Lidless Wall
PaladinCathedral's Song, Red Sermon, Sanctis of Kethamar
RogueAsheara's Khanjar, Scoundrel's Kiss
SorcererFractured Winterglass, Esadora's Overflowing Cameo
SpiritbornJacinth Shell, Path of the Emissary (new S11)
All ClassesRazorplate, Temerity, Yen's Blessing

Experience: Ran him 40 times solo. Temerity dropped twice, Razorplate once. Solid for thorns or sustain builds.

Strategy: Blood Maidens spawn predictably – mark them on the map and chain them.

The Beast in the Ice – Glacial Tunnels Nightmare

Beast is tougher but drops some of the best gloves and rings.

Summoning: 12 Distilled Fear from Tier 30+ Nightmare Dungeons.

ClassKey Uniques Dropped
BarbarianAncients' Oath, Hellhammer, Ring of the Ravenous
DruidStorm's Companion, Unsung Ascetic's Wraps
NecromancerRing of Mendeln, Mutilator Plate, Gravebloom (new S11)
PaladinBastion of Sir Matthias, Light's Rebuke
RogueEaglehorn, Windforce
SorcererGloves of the Illuminator, The Oculus
SpiritbornHarmony of Ebewaka, Wound Drinker
All ClassesFists of Fate, Paingorger's Gauntlets, Tassets of the Dawning Sky

Tested: 20 runs at Pit 100 equivalent. Fists of Fate finally dropped on run 17. Worth it if you need that glove slot.

Strategy: Sigils craft easily now – burn through T30+ NMDs.

Duriel & Andariel – The Uber Kings

These two share the spotlight. Same mats basically, same loot pool with slight differences.

Summoning (Duriel): 3 Shards of Agony (from Varshan + Grigoire). Summoning (Andariel): 3 Pincushioned Dolls (from Beast + Zir).

BossKey Uniques (Shared + Specific)
BothGodslayer Crown, Soulbrand, X'Fal's Corroded Signet, Banished Lord's Talisman
DurielTuskhelm of Joritz, Tempest Roar, Black River, Blue Rose, Rod of Kepeleke, Death's Pavane (new S11)
AndarielTibault's Will, Flickerstep, Flamescar, The Basilisk, Sunbird's Gorget

My biggest grind: Over 100 combined runs this season. Got Harlequin Crest from Duriel on run 63, Ring of Starless Skies never showed. 1.5% Mythic chance per slot feels accurate.

Strategy: Rotate between them based on what you need. Duo is optimal – one carries, one leeches mats.

Belial – The Mythic Hunter

Belial is the new hotness for Mythic chasers.

Summoning: 2 Betrayer's Husk from special ambushes.

Drops everything, but massively increased Mythic chance: Harlequin Crest, Ring of Starless Skies, Tyrael's Might, Andariel's Visage, etc.

Exclusive insight from my logs: In 15 Belial runs, I saw two Mythics (group of four). Highest rate I’ve personally experienced.

Strategy: Prioritize him if you’re chasing Shattered Vow or Melted Heart of Selig.

Quick Tip If Farming Burns You Out

Look, I love the grind, but sometimes life gets in the way. If you just want that perfect roll without another 50 Duriel runs, plenty of us quietly pick up diablo 4 items on U4GM.com. Reliable, fast, and lets you get back to actually playing.

That’s the state of boss farming right now. Tables are current as of patch 2.5.2, meta feels healthy, and Season 11 still has legs until March. Test these yourself – the drops are random, but the targets are clear. Drop your best find this season in the comments. See you in Sanctuary.
