Tired of crawling through nights with barely enough diamonds to unlock that shiny new class? I've been there. After a lot of trial, error, and some help from the community, here's the fastest, most reliable way to stack diamonds without burning out.

How to Farm Diamonds Quickly in 99 Nights in the Forest

99 Nights in the Forest Diamonds are your premium currency for unlocking top-tier classes like Cyborg and Assassin, plus other high-value upgrades. If you're short on them, your progression will feel like walking barefoot over thorns.

Best Farming Method – Cultist Stronghold Speed Runs

This is hands-down the most efficient way I've found.

Step 1 – Form a Team

  • Find players on Discord or Reddit who know the route.
  • 3–4 players is ideal for clearing fast without being chaotic.
  • If possible, include at least one Alien class player (infinite ammo = fewer reload breaks).

Step 2 – Gear Up

  • Food: Bring cooked meat or mushrooms (raw meat works in a pinch but hurts a bit).
  • Ammo: Not an issue if you're Alien, but everyone else should bring plenty.
  • Healing: At least one healing option in your quick slot.

Step 3 – Run the Stronghold

  • Start the Cultist Stronghold mission.
  • Ignore unnecessary mobs—kill only what's blocking the path.
  • Memorize the fastest flanking routes to avoid getting pinned down.
  • Each run takes ~20–25 minutes and yields ~5 diamonds.

Supplemental Method – Achievement Farming

If you need a break from Strongholds:

  1. Open your achievements menu.
  2. Sort by “Reward: Diamonds.”
  3. Focus on ones you can complete in under 30 minutes (e.g., kill counts, exploration).
  4. These stack nicely with your Stronghold gains.

Cultist Stronghold – Diamond Farming Route

Average Run Time: 20–25 minutes
Average Diamonds per Run: 5
Best Class for Speed: Alien (infinite ammo)
Best Group Size: 3–4 players

Step 1 – Prep Before Entering

  1. Stock up on food – 3–4 cooked meats or mushrooms. Raw meat works in emergencies but will drop a bit of health.
  2. Carry healing – bandages or potions for quick recovery between fights.
  3. Ammo check – Alien doesn't need any, others should bring at least 200 rounds.
  4. Agree on roles – 1 player leads, 1 covers rear, others clear choke points.

Step 2 – The Entry Hall

  • Enemies: Light cultists with melee weapons.
  • Tactic: Sprint past the first wave, only kill those in your path.
  • Shortcut: Hug the left wall and slip through the archway to avoid triggering two extra spawns.

Step 3 – The Main Corridor

  • Enemies: Mix of ranged cultists and wolves.
  • Tactic: Use the corridor's corners for cover. Alien player should clear wolves fast—they can stun-lock the team.
  • Loot Tip: Skip side rooms unless you're hunting mats; they add 3–5 minutes to the run.

Step 4 – The Split Hall (Two Routes)

  • Route A – Left Path: Slightly longer but fewer enemies.
  • Route B – Right Path: Faster but has a miniboss.
  • Recommendation: Take Route B only if your DPS is strong and you can drop the miniboss in under 30 seconds.

Step 5 – Cultist Shrine Room

  • Enemies: Heavy cultists and one elite guard.
  • Tactic: Drop grenades or heavy abilities immediately to clear mobs. Focus-fire the elite guard first—he boosts allies' damage if left alive.
  • Shortcut: Ignore loot piles until after the fight—diamonds are run-completion rewards, not in-chest drops.

Step 6 – Boss Arena

Boss: Cultist High Priest

Tactic:

  1. Keep distance and avoid his AoE circles.
  2. Burn him down quickly with team ultimates.
  3. Don't waste time on summoned adds unless they block line of sight.

Step 7 – Exit & Reset

  • Grab your rewards screen (should show ~5 diamonds).
  • Immediately re-queue and repeat.
  • With an organized group, you can push 3 runs/hour = 15 diamonds/hour.

Extra Tips from Experience

  • Don't solo farm unless you must – team runs are faster and safer.
  • Always restock between runs – nothing kills momentum like running out of food mid-dungeon.
  • Learn the spawn patterns – the more predictable the fight, the faster you'll finish.

Recap

If you want diamonds fast:

  1. Run Cultist Stronghold with a small, coordinated team.
  2. Bring the right gear, especially food and healing.
  3. Use achievements as a side hustle for bonus gems.

Follow this loop for a few sessions and you'll have more diamonds than you know what to do with—well, almost.
