However, due to their rarity, acquiring Regal Orbs consistently requires strategic planning and knowledge of multiple methods.

How to Obtain Regal Orbs

1. Loot Drops from Enemies and Chests

Regal Orbs can drop directly from enemies and chests, especially from elite monsters and bosses. As you progress into Act 2 and beyond, drop rates become slightly more favorable. Regular combat and thorough exploration are essential to increase your odds.

2. Collecting Regal Shards

Regal Shards are more commonly found than full Regal Orbs. Ten shards combine into one full Regal Orb. These shards can drop from enemies and chests, making high-density monster zones ideal for farming them efficiently.

3. Disenchanting Rare Items

Disenchanting unwanted rare (yellow) items at vendor NPCs yields Regal Shards. NPCs like Una (Act 1), Zarka (Act 2), and Servi (Act 3) offer this service. Items with multiple modifiers tend to provide more shards. This method is especially effective during loot-heavy runs or when clearing out inventory space.

4. Farming Specific Bosses

Certain bosses are known to have higher chances of dropping Regal Shards. Farming a target like Beira of the Rotten Pack in Clearfell can be efficient. Resetting the instance after each kill allows repeated attempts, which is helpful for focused farming.

5. Participating in Trials

Engaging in Trials, such as the Chalice Challenge in the Trials of Sekhemas, is another effective method. These trials feature numerous rare monsters in a compact timeframe, increasing your Regal Shard drop rate significantly.

6. Trading with Other Players

If farming doesn’t yield results quickly enough, trading with other players is always an option. Use in-game trading tools or platforms to exchange other currencies or valuable items for Regal Orbs.

Personal Experience and Tips

From my own experience, combining multiple methods is the most reliable strategy. I found high monster density areas like Clearfell to be especially rewarding. I made a habit of disenchanting every rare item I didn’t need, and I actively participated in Trials to farm quickly.
