Black Ops 7 Season 6 is shaping up to be one of the biggest seasonal updates yet, bringing The Haunting back for another Halloween-themed event. The new season will add fresh Multiplayer maps, new weapons, Zombies content, Endgame updates, and a selection of limited-time events.

The Haunting will spread across multiple parts of Black Ops 7 instead of being limited to cosmetic changes. Multiplayer will receive new locations and a special Zombies-inspired playlist, while Zombies players can look forward to a new Survival map and additional Easter Egg content. Players looking to practice new loadouts or explore Multiplayer strategies may also be interested in a COD Black Ops 7 bot lobby before jumping into the new seasonal content. Endgame will also receive new nighttime gameplay and a major seasonal event.

New Multiplayer Maps

Season 6 will introduce two major Multiplayer locations: Quantum and Bloodstead.

Quantum

Quantum is a new 6v6 Multiplayer map set inside a quantum computing facility beneath the Arctic ice. The location gives the map a cold, high-tech atmosphere while creating a mixture of enclosed combat areas and connecting routes.

The facility layout should make positioning and movement important, especially during objective modes. Players will need to pay attention to rotations and potential flank routes instead of focusing only on the main lanes.

Quantum is expected to work well for players who enjoy traditional 6v6 combat but want a setting that feels different from the usual military environments.

Bloodstead

Bloodstead is a horror-themed version of the Homestead map. The familiar location has been transformed with a much darker Halloween atmosphere, including disturbing environmental details and Zombies-themed elements.

Although the map retains its basic Multiplayer structure, the visual transformation gives Bloodstead a very different identity from the original Homestead.

T.E.D.D. Trials

T.E.D.D. Trials will bring Zombies elements into a special 6v6 Multiplayer experience.

The limited-time mode will feature three Zombies-themed locations: Roadkill, Lost, and Inferno. Instead of simply focusing on eliminations, teams will need to deal with objectives while fighting enemy Operators and Zombies.

The mode is designed to combine traditional Multiplayer competition with elements from Zombies. Players should be prepared to balance objective progress, enemy players, and the additional threats appearing around the map.

New Weapons

Season 6 will add several new weapons, giving players more options for both aggressive and controlled playstyles.

VMP

The VMP returns as a classic Black Ops SMG. Known for its fast-firing nature and close-range potential, the weapon is a natural fit for aggressive players who like pushing objectives and fighting inside buildings.

The VMP should be particularly useful for players who rely on mobility and fast reactions. Its role makes it a strong candidate for close-range Multiplayer loadouts.

TR51 Para

The TR51 Para provides a different option from the VMP. As a semi-automatic assault rifle, it is designed around more controlled gunfights and deliberate shots.

Players who prefer holding lanes or engaging enemies from medium distances may find the TR51 Para more comfortable than a fast-firing SMG.

Season 6 will also introduce additional weapons and Attachments through Battle Pass progression, seasonal events, and challenges, giving players several ways to expand their loadouts.

New Zombies Map: Tenshu

Zombies is receiving a major addition with Tenshu, a new Survival map set around the Masaki family's ancestral castle.

The castle setting provides a darker atmosphere that fits naturally into The Haunting theme. Players will have to survive waves of undead enemies while exploring the different areas of the location and managing increasingly difficult encounters.

Enemies such as Hellhounds and Oni will add additional threats to the map, making positioning and resource management important as each round becomes more demanding.

Tenshu is built around traditional Round-Based Zombies gameplay, making it an important addition for players who prefer the classic survival experience.

Rex Infernus Directed Mode

Season 6 will also introduce Rex Infernus Directed Mode, giving Zombies players a more guided way to experience the Main Quest.

Directed Mode is designed for players who want to follow the intended Easter Egg progression without having to discover every objective on their own. It can be particularly useful for newer Zombies players or anyone who wants to complete the story with less trial and error.

A Starting Room challenge will also provide a more restricted version of the experience, keeping players in a limited area and creating a more concentrated survival challenge.

Super Easter Egg

Dedicated Zombies players will have another major goal through the Season 6 Super Easter Egg.

Players who complete the required Main Quests across the Round-Based Zombies maps can work toward additional rewards connected to the overall Zombies storyline.

One of the notable rewards is The Warden Operator, giving players an extra incentive to finish any remaining Main Quest objectives before tackling the larger seasonal challenge.

The Super Easter Egg also gives long-time Zombies players a reason to revisit previous maps rather than focusing exclusively on the new Tenshu experience.

Rogue Run Halloween Content

Rogue Run will also receive Halloween-themed content during Season 6.

Pumpkin-headed Zombies will appear throughout Rogue Run playlists, while new rewards and challenges will give players additional reasons to explore the mode.

Among the new rewards are upgrades such as Pack-a-Punch IV, an Ultra-Rarity weapon upgrade, and Golden Armor. Paradox Junction and Kowakujō will also play a role in the seasonal Rogue Run content.

Endgame Updates

The Haunting will extend into Endgame with new nighttime gameplay and the Forbidden Summoning event.

Avalon Night

Avalon will take on a darker appearance with a nighttime version of the environment. Reduced visibility will change how players approach movement, combat, and exploration.

Operators will still need to complete Activities and Assignments while dealing with Guild opponents and other threats. The darker environment should make awareness and positioning even more important.

Forbidden Summoning

The Forbidden Summoning event will introduce a major encounter to Endgame.

Players will need to interact with the event's objectives, unlock seals, and eventually confront an ancient threat. Because the encounter is built around a larger combat sequence, preparing a suitable loadout and working with teammates can make the challenge much easier.

The event will also provide seasonal rewards for players who successfully complete it.

Battle Pass and Seasonal Events

Season 6 will bring a new Battle Pass featuring more than 100 rewards. Players can expect new Operator content, weapon blueprints, COD Points, Calling Cards, GobbleGums, Emotes, and other cosmetic items.

The VMP and TR51 Para will be among the major weapon additions available through seasonal progression.

The Camo Costume Party will also give players new challenges across Multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame, and Warzone. Completing the required Weapon Class Camo Challenges will unlock additional Camos and seasonal rewards, including the Arcblade Melee Weapon.

A DOOM-themed Event Pass is also planned as part of the seasonal content, adding another crossover to the Black Ops 7 experience.

Black Ops 7 Season 6 is shaping up to be a major Halloween update, with The Haunting connecting Multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame, and Warzone through new content and limited-time events.

Quantum and Bloodstead will expand Multiplayer, while T.E.D.D. Trials will offer a different type of 6v6 experience by mixing Zombies elements with traditional competitive gameplay. The VMP and TR51 Para will give players two very different weapon options to experiment with.

For Zombies fans, Tenshu, Rex Infernus Directed Mode, the Super Easter Egg, and Rogue Run updates provide several new objectives to work toward. Endgame players will also have Avalon Night and Forbidden Summoning to explore.

With its combination of new maps, weapons, Zombies content, and Halloween events, Season 6 looks set to give Black Ops 7 players plenty of new content to explore when The Haunting arrives.
