Restless Rot is a special currency in Diablo 4. You use it to buy and upgrade Witchcraft powers in the game. Here's how to get it and what to do with it!

What Is Restless Rot?

Restless Rot is a new currency item in Season 7. It helps you make your Witch Powers stronger. These powers give you exciting abilities to fight stronger enemies.

Witch Powers Example: Doom Orb

Doom Orb is a unique Witch Power. It grants: An ominous orb of pure Eldritch energy circles you, damaging any enemy it touches for X Fire damage. Doom Orb may launch itself at distant enemies before returning. Rank 5: Kills or damage to Bosses empower the orb’s damage by 5%. After 100%, the orb explodes dealing 5,200 damage to nearby enemies before reforming 3 seconds later.

How to Get Restless Rot?

You can collect Restless Rot by fighting Headrotten enemies. These are new, scary foes in the season. Here’s where to find them:

Headhunts Subzones: These are special areas, like Helltides. They are full of Headrotten to defeat.
Rootholds: Small dungeons where Headrotten hide. Explore them to find more enemies and loot.

What Else Can You Do?

Kill Headrotten: They drop Restless Rot when defeated.
Return Fugitive Heads: After defeating Headrotten, take their heads to the Tree of Whispers. This will reward you with Occult Gems, another important item for upgrades.
