Battleship debuts as the first-ever player-versus-player minigame in Monopoly GO, introducing a thrilling new layer of competition and strategy. This exciting 1v1 game challenges players to outsmart their opponents by sinking their battleships to earn valuable rewards and prizes.

Monopoly GO Battleship Release Date

The Battleship event officially launches on October 21, 2025, at 1 PM ET, and will run for 24 hours, ending on October 22, 2025.

After this initial debut, it’s expected to appear regularly as part of the Carnival Games rotation. Previously, the event was available only to a limited number of players for testing before its global release.

Monopoly GO Battleship Rewards

You’ll earn tickets in Battleship by hitting enemy ships, sinking them, and winning matches. These tickets can be exchanged for prizes displayed at the top of the event screen, similar to other Carnival Games. Players can also refresh the prize list, but each refresh consumes tickets, with the cost increasing every time.

Typical rewards include:

- Game cash
- Dice rolls
- Vaults containing random bonuses
- Sticker packs
- Boosts to speed up progress

Keep an eye out for treasure bottles on the board — they grant additional rewards when hit.

How to Play Battleship in Monopoly GO

1. Set Up Your Board

   Drag and drop your Ships, Mines, and the Treasure Bottle into position.
   Tap on your Ships to rotate them, or use the Shuffle button for a randomized setup.
   Avoid grouping up your Ships! Make your layout unpredictable to outsmart your opponents.
   Mines are powerful — if your opponent hits one, they lose an extra shot.
   The Treasure Bottle gives bonus rewards to your opponent if they find it. Hide it well!

2. Find an Opponent

Tap Play to be matched quickly with another Tycoon ready for battle.

3. Attack

   You get 25 shots to uncover your opponent’s Ships and hit their Treasure Bottle.
   Your opponent’s Mines will make you lose one extra shot, if triggered.
   Once you’ve used all your shots or found everything, the round ends.

4. View the Results

After you have used all of your shots, you can:

   View the results in the Battle Report.
   Once your opponent has fired all their shots, you can tap Claim to collect your Carnival Tickets.
   Carnival Tickets will be awarded from the Ships you've sunk, and the Treasure Bottle if you discover it.
   If you've won the match by sinking more Ships than your opponent, you will earn bonus Carnival Tickets!
