Great news, Tycoons! The long-awaited Cancel Safe Exchange feature is now officially LIVE in Monopoly GO! Trading stickers just became safer and more convenient. Whether you're waiting on a slow response or hit your daily trade limit, this update gives you more control over your exchanges.

What’s New?

Cancel After 2 Hours
If you initiate a Safe Exchange and your friend hasn’t responded, you can now cancel the trade after 2 hours.

Extended Expiration Timer
The exchange timer has been increased from 16 hours to 24 hours, giving you more time to complete trades — especially helpful if you've reached your daily Trade Limit.

What Is Safe Exchange?

Safe Exchange is a secure trading feature that lets you and a friend propose stickers to swap. The trade is only finalized when both players agree, ensuring no one loses a sticker unfairly.

How Safe Exchange Works?

Tap the sticker you want to exchange.
Select “Send to Friend.”
Toggle “Make an Exchange!”
Your friend proposes a sticker in return.
The exchange only completes once both sides confirm.

Smarter Sticker Search

The built-in Search Bar helps you quickly find stickers by:

Name
Set
Star rating

No more endless scrolling—and if you don’t own the sticker, it won’t appear.

Cancel Safe Exchange – How It Works

You can cancel a trade 2 hours after sending it, as long as:

Your friend hasn’t responded yet, or the response falls within specific timing conditions near the expiration window. If eligible, the Cancel button will appear automatically.

What Happens When You Cancel?

The trade ends immediately

All stickers return to their original owners
Your Daily Sticker Sending allowance is restored (if canceled before daily reset)
If after reset, your daily count remains unaffected

Will Your Friend Be Notified?

Yes. A message will appear in their Timeline confirming that the trade was canceled.

Why Don’t I See the Cancel Button?

You may not see it if:

2 hours haven’t passed yet
You or your friend responded within the last 2 hours before expiration
