Monopoly GO July 2025: Heatwave Racers Returns with New Album Season

Get ready to rev your engines! The fan-favorite Heatwave Racers event returns to Monopoly GO this July 2025 with a brand-new racing challenge that coincides with the launch of The Summer Escape album. This fast-paced, team-based event combines multiplayer strategy with exciting rewards, making it one of the most anticipated mini-games of the season.

Below is a full breakdown of the event schedule, gameplay mechanics, ways to earn Flags, and the rewards you can expect during this high-octane competition.

Event Dates: When Is Heatwave Racers Happening?

The next Heatwave Racers event will run from:

July 3 at 1:20 PM to July 7 at 3:55 PM (local time)

This four-day event will kick off the new sticker season. Expect competitive races, new rewards, and a rush of players forming teams to climb the leaderboards.

How the Heatwave Racers Event Works?

The Heatwave Racers event is divided into two stages:

Stage 1: Team Building

Before the racing begins, players must form a team of four racers. Here’s how it works:

Invite your friends to join your team        
Each member must accept the invite before the deadline        
If your team isn’t full, the game will auto-fill it with other players

Make sure your team is locked in early — communication and coordination are key to winning!

Stage 2: Racing

Once the event starts, your team of four will compete in three intense races against another squad. Each race awards medals based on team placement:

The team with the most medals after all three races wins the championship. As you race and complete laps, you’ll unlock milestone rewards. Races get harder — but the prizes get even better.

How to Earn Flags in Heatwave Racers?

Flags are the main resource used to advance in the event. Here are the best ways to earn them:       
Complete Daily Tasks and Races: Engage in daily challenges and complete races to receive Flag bonuses.       
Land on Special Board Tiles: Certain game board spaces give Flags when you land on them — keep rolling!       
Daily Quick Wins: Complete Quick Win challenges for extra Flags every day.       
Claim Free Gifts from the In-Game Store: Visit the shop every 8 hours to collect free Flags and other goodies.

Monopoly GO Heatwave Racers Rewards (July 2025)

While the full prize list hasn’t been confirmed yet, here’s what players can likely expect:

Team Championship Rewards

First place: Five star purple sticker pack, Hot Rod Board Token
Second place - Four star blue sticker pack, three star pink sticker pack
Third place - Three star pink sticker pack, two star yellow sticker pack
Fourth place - Two star rellow sticker pack and one star green sticker pack

Solo Championship Rewards

There will be a reduced set of rewards similar to the above if you choose to place the event solo. Here's what you can win in this event if you choose to go it alone.

First place: Four star blue sticker pack, Hot Rod Board Token
Second place - Three star pink sticker pack
Third place - Three star pink sticker pack
Fourth place - Two star yellow sticker pack

There are also more than the rewards above to be won. As you play through races and complete laps, after a certain number of laps your team will unlock milestone rewards where you'll be given a series of rewards to select from which include sticker packs, dice, flags and more.

Lap rewards are given out after lap one, after two more laps, after five more laps, and after ten more laps, with the rewards getting increasingly better as you get further. The rewards continue with another reward after every 10 laps. For each of the lap rewards you'll be given a choice of rewards to pick from, flags are usually there, if you need some more for your team.

New Booster: Team Spring

Earn the Team Spring Booster in Racers mode and charge it with your team. Once full, everyone gets a free roll with a multiplier! It even stacks when teammates collect together. This boost is stackable too, so unlock rockets you can end up in a situation where you have a number of these free rolls ready to go.

Lucky Rocket Boost

If the Lucky Rocket boost features in this race, here is how it generally works. When this boost is active, your dice will only have the numbers 6, 7 and 8 on it's faces so not only giving you a much higher chance of rolling a double or treble, but also increasing the point scores by just having these three numbers as being rollable. The most important thing to remember about Lucky Rockets is that they don't stack, so ideally all of your team should use theirs before another is unlocked.

Ball and Chain / Overload

A recent addition is also the Overload (also called Ball and chain), if this debuff is available in Heatwave Racers,you can claim these from some lap milestone rewards and once you have one you can use it on any other other teams to slow them down. It will cut any roll amounts they score in half until they manage to break it. This is a good way to slow any one team that is making too much progress.
