PoE 3.29 Voyage Planner Chart Layouts and Divine Farming

The Voyage Planner can be one of the most profitable parts of Path of Exile 3.29 Curse of the Allflame, but the board can look confusing at first. Chart placement matters, and the right Border Modifier can completely change how you should build the Voyage.

For most runs, the best approach is to focus on Strongboxes and steady rewards. When you hit the right Border Modifier, however, it can be worth saving your best Charts and switching to a Divine Orb farming setup.

Here is a simple way to handle both strategies.

Voyage Planner Basics

A Voyage uses a 3x3 board, and your Charts need to form a connected route back to the starting point.

The most important thing to understand is how modifiers interact with the board.

Adjacent modifiers affect nearby areas, while Voyage modifiers can apply across the entire Voyage. Border Modifiers sit around the outside of the board and can make certain areas much more valuable.

The center position is especially useful because it can affect four adjacent areas. Edge positions have fewer neighboring spaces, while corner positions have the least coverage.

This is why you shouldn't place Charts randomly. Put your strongest adjacent modifier where it can reach the most valuable areas.

The Default Setup Strongbox Farming

For normal Voyages, Strongbox farming is the easiest strategy to repeat.

Start with a Chart that adds Strongboxes to adjacent areas. Operative's Strongbox is usually the first option to look for, followed by other useful Strongbox types such as Diviner's, Arcanist's, and Message in a Bottle.

A simple layout looks like this:

Put your strongest Strongbox Chart in the center or another high-value position.
Place high-Quantity Charts around it.
Use Rare Monster or other reward-focused Charts to fill the remaining spaces.
Keep the board connected so you can complete the Voyage efficiently.

The goal isn't to create a perfect board every time. You want a setup that produces good rewards while keeping your Farming speed high.

Strongbox Priority

When sorting your Chart stash, a useful priority is:

Operative's Strongbox
Message in a Bottle
Diviner's Strongbox
Arcanist's Strongbox
High-Quantity Charts

Keep your best specialized Charts in reserve rather than using them on every normal run.

Rolling and Sorting Charts

Roll Charts before you commit them to a Voyage.

Item Quantity is one of the most useful stats for general Farming, so high-Quantity Charts are worth saving. At the same time, remove modifiers that your build cannot run comfortably.

If you have a large Chart collection, a regex can save a lot of time. Instead of checking every Chart manually, use filters for useful terms such as Strongbox, Divine, Operative, Arcanist, Diviner, and other reward modifiers.

The important part is keeping your stash organized. When a valuable Border Modifier appears, you don't want to spend several minutes searching for the Charts you need.

Divine Orb Jackpot Setup

The big opportunity comes when your Border Modifier says:

Rare Monsters drop an additional Divine Orb

At that point, stop thinking about normal Strongbox Farming.

The goal is to get as many Rare Monsters as possible into the areas affected by that Border Modifier.

Use Charts that increase Rare Monster numbers across the Voyage, then combine them with Strongbox Charts that can create additional Rare enemies.

Special areas such as Sea Pillars can also become valuable because of their additional Rare Monster spawns. Position them next to the Border that grants the Divine reward whenever possible.

The exact Divine payout isn't guaranteed because monster spawns and other modifiers can vary. The important thing is maximizing the number of Rare Monsters that can benefit from the Border effect.

Strongboxes + Rare Monsters

This is where the jackpot setup becomes interesting.

A Strongbox can do more than provide its normal loot. With the right modifiers, it can also spawn additional Rare Monsters.

That creates a simple chain:

More Strongboxes → More Rare Monsters → More chances to trigger the Divine Border reward

For this reason, don't automatically choose between Strongbox and Rare Monster Charts. When a Divine Border appears, the two strategies can work together.

When Should You Reroll the Border?

Not every Border Modifier deserves a reroll.

For regular Farming, a useful Strongbox, Quantity, Scarab, or currency-related modifier may already be good enough.

For a dedicated jackpot run, the priority is:

Rare Monsters drop an additional Divine Orb

After that, look for other Rare Monster, Strongbox, Quantity, or Rarity bonuses.

Set a Sulphur budget before rerolling. Chasing the perfect Border can quickly become more expensive than the extra rewards are worth.

Two Layouts to Remember

You don't need a complicated layout for every situation. Keep the Strongbox setup as your default and switch only when the Border Modifier makes a jackpot run worthwhile.

Before starting a Voyage, check:

• High-Quantity Charts ready?
• Strongbox Charts saved?
• Rare Monster Charts available?
• Border Modifier worth using?
• Strongest adjacent Chart placed effectively?
• Special Rare areas positioned near the Divine Border?
• Board connected to the starting point?
• Sulphur reroll budget under control?

The key to Voyage Farming is consistency. Run Strongbox layouts for your normal PoE Currency and material farming, save specialized Charts, and be ready to go all-in when a valuable Divine Border appears.

A good Voyage isn't necessarily the most complicated one. It's the one that gives you strong rewards without slowing down your Farming routine.
