Hero Siege S10 Best New Gear and Nodes to Farm First

Hero Siege Season 10 Ebontharn has been live for just over a week, and players are already getting a better idea of which new Hero Siege Items are actually worth chasing.

There are 24 new Heroic SS-tier items in the season, along with more than 600 new Incarnation nodes and over 100 Ether nodes. With that much new content, it can be easy to waste time farming items that do not really help your build.

Here are the upgrades worth looking at first.

Phantom Leviathan Gear Stands Out

The Phantom Leviathan loot pool is probably the first place I would look when farming the new Uber Bosses.

Leviathan's Ribcage is a strong defensive option with plenty of value for builds that want more health and survivability. Leviathan's Crown is another piece worth keeping an eye on, especially if it fits the stats and skills your build already uses.

The rest of the Phantom Leviathan pool includes:

Leviathan's Spine
Phantom Strike
Ghost Armada
Phantom Scimitar
Leviathan's Blood

You do not need to rebuild your entire character around these items. A good roll can make one of these pieces a very easy replacement for a weaker slot in an existing setup.

Captain Grimtide Is Better for Physical Builds

Captain Grimtide's equipment has a different feel. This group is more interesting for physical damage, melee characters, and builds that can take advantage of its weapon options.

The main drops include Captain's Attire, Grimtide's Necklace, Ghostplunderer's Marchers, Captain's Anchor, Ghastly Skull, and Grimtide's Scimitar.

There is also Ethereal Musket for players using a ranged setup, while Skeleton Crew's Band can be useful depending on the rest of your gear.

This is not necessarily the loot pool every character should target first. If your build has little use for physical or melee-focused bonuses, there are better places to spend your farming time.

Blood Maiden Has Some Interesting DoT Gear

Blood Maiden's items are particularly appealing for damage-over-time and parasite-focused builds.

The standout pieces include Blood Maggot Pendant, Parasite Queen's Tiara, Infected Grasp, Parasitic Heart, Jar Of Parasites, Parasite Loop, Overgrowth, and Conjured Tentacle.

These items are worth checking if you are playing a build that relies on damage over time, summons, or parasite mechanics. Demonspawn and some Plague Doctor setups can get a lot more value from this loot pool than a straightforward physical build.

Do Not Ignore the Incarnation Tree

The new gear gets most of the attention, but the expanded Incarnation tree can make an even bigger difference to some characters.

There are now more than 600 new nodes, giving players a lot more room to specialize.

Explosion nodes are an obvious choice for builds that can trigger explosions consistently. Redneck Pipe Bomb builds, in particular, have plenty to gain from the right Explosion bonuses.

Projectile nodes are another strong option for skills with the Projectile tag. If your main ability already scales with projectiles, these nodes are an easy place to start.

Caster builds should also look closely at Skill Haste and Faster Cast Rate clusters. More frequent skill usage can be just as valuable as adding another chunk of raw damage.

Do not forget defensive nodes either. Once you start pushing higher Inferno content, extra health and defensive bonuses can be more valuable than another small damage increase.

Ether Tree Farming Priorities

The Ether tree is especially useful if you are trying to make your farming sessions more efficient.

Abyssal Chest nodes deserve early attention. They improve your chances of getting the rewards you are actually farming for, while the Magic Find bonuses make them even more attractive after the recent changes.

Overworld, Colossal Chest, and Chaos Tower nodes are also worth considering if experience is your main goal.

Ready To Pop is another useful pickup for players who want to speed up their chest farming. The faster you can cycle through the relevant content, the more chances you have to find the gear you need.

What I Would Farm First

I would start with Abyssal Chests and all five levers, then move into the Uber Bosses that can drop the items your build needs.

If your character can use Leviathan gear, that is a good starting point. Blood Maiden is more attractive for DoT, parasite, and summon-oriented builds, while Grimtide makes more sense for physical and melee setups.

At the same time, spend your Incarnation points on nodes that directly match your main skills. There is little reason to take a powerful-looking node if your build cannot actually benefit from it.

Most importantly, do not throw away your old gear just because a new SS item dropped.

A well-rolled older item with the right affixes can still be better than a new Heroic item with poor rolls. Stats such as skill bonuses, damage, resistances, health, FCR, and attack speed can completely change the value of a piece.

The Best S10 Builds Are Still Taking Shape

StormWeaver, Demonspawn Blood and Bone, Shaman Flame Totem, Viking Whirlwind and Shockwave, Paladin Lightning Fury, Amazon Thunder Fury, and Redneck Pipe Bomb are among the builds getting a lot of attention right now.

The important thing is that the new gear does not have to completely replace what worked before. Some of the strongest setups are likely to mix a few Ebontharn items with older gear and then use the new Incarnation and Ether trees to fill the gaps.

For now, farm the new SS items that actually fit your character, build your Incarnation path around your main skill tags, and use Ether points to make the farming process faster.
