MLB The Show 26: How to Get 99 OVR Lindor

Francisco Lindor reached 300 career home runs on September 27, and MLB The Show 26 has added a new Milestone Player Program to celebrate the achievement. The featured reward is a 99 OVR Milestone Francisco Lindor, giving Diamond Dynasty players another high-end shortstop option without needing to rely on packs.

The program is straightforward, but you do not need to finish every objective to get Lindor. There are 350 total available points, while the 99 OVR reward requires 300. That leaves some room to skip the slower objectives and focus on the most efficient route.

Lindor Milestone Program Rewards

The reward path requires 300 points to reach the Lindor card:

• 50 Points: 2,500 XP
• 100 Points: MLB The Show 26 Pack
• 150 Points: 2,500 XP
• 200 Points: Ballin’ is a Habit Pack
• 250 Points: 2,500 XP

The five Moments provide 50 points in total, with each Moment worth 10 points.

Complete Program Missions

The Program has five additional Missions worth 300 points combined.

All five Moments are based around Francisco Lindor hitting home runs on Veteran difficulty, so they are the easiest place to start.

Fastest Route to 99 OVR Lindor

You only need 300 points, so there is no reason to complete every objective if your only goal is the final reward.

The cleanest 300-point route is:

• Five Moments — 50 Points
• 30 Home Runs — 100 Points
• 129 Runs — 100 Points
• 2,000 PXP with Mets and/or Guardians — 50 Points

That combination gives you exactly 300 Points, unlocking the 99 OVR Milestone Lindor.

This means the four-win Mission and the 750 Lindor PXP Mission can be skipped.

How to Grind the Missions

Start with all five Moments. They are short and provide 50 guaranteed points, so there is little reason to leave them for later.

For the remaining objectives, build a lineup containing as many eligible Mets and Guardians players as possible. This lets you work toward the 2,000 PXP requirement while also accumulating runs and home runs.

The 30-home-run and 129-run objectives are not restricted to one specific game mode, giving you flexibility. Use the mode where you can score consistently and complete games quickly.

There is also no need to spend a large amount of MLB The Show 26 Stubs just to finish this Program. Strong players already in your Diamond Dynasty collection are enough to make progress.

99 OVR Milestone Francisco Lindor

The new Lindor card brings the combination of hitting, defense, speed, and switch-hitting that makes the shortstop particularly useful in Diamond Dynasty.

Switch-hitting is one of the biggest advantages of the card because Lindor can hit from either side of the plate regardless of the pitcher's handedness. His defensive ability also makes him a natural option at shortstop, while his speed adds value on the bases.

Whether he becomes an immediate starter depends on your current lineup. Players who already have several high-end shortstops should compare Lindor's hitting attributes, defensive ratings, speed, and swing before making a roster change.

Tips to Finish Faster

The best approach is to overlap as many objectives as possible instead of grinding each one separately.

Use Mets and Guardians players while working on the 2,000 PXP requirement. At the same time, use power hitters to build progress toward the 30 home runs and 129 runs.

The four-win Mission is optional for the 99 OVR reward. If you naturally complete it during the grind, the extra 25 points give you more flexibility, but you do not need to specifically farm four wins.

The same applies to the 750 Lindor PXP Mission. If you already have a usable Lindor card, you can make progress with him, but this objective is not required to reach 300 points.
