The Retro Division Series Program is a quick way to add four 99 OVR The Show Classics cards to your Diamond Dynasty collection. The program features Rhys Hoskins, Logan Webb, Gleyber Torres, and Anthony Santander, with Santander waiting at the final 50-point milestone.
The program is built around 10 Moments and four PXP missions. If you approach the missions efficiently, there is no need for a long grind. Finish the Moments first, then use eligible players from multiple teams to work toward several PXP objectives at once.
Retro Division Series Program Rewards
The reward path contains four 99 OVR player cards, a Deluxe Choice Pack, and XP rewards.
| Program Points | Reward |
| 10 | 99 OVR Rhys Hoskins |
| 10 | 1,000 XP |
| 20 | 99 OVR Logan Webb |
| 20 | 1,000 XP |
| 30 | 99 OVR Gleyber Torres |
| 30 | 1,000 XP |
| 40 | Deluxe Choice Pack |
| 40 | 1,000 XP |
| 50 | 99 OVR Anthony Santander |
| 50 | 2,026 XP |
The full path requires exactly 50 points, so completing all available tasks is enough to reach the final reward.
All Retro Division Series Moments
There are 10 Moments in the program, with each one worth three points. Completing all 10 gives you 30 points.
The Moments are:
Halladay's No-Hitter
Hoskins Ignites Philadelphia
Bautista's Iconic Bat Flip
Webb Gem
Yordan's Walk-Off
Pedro Saves the Day
Gleyber Lifts Yankees Offense in 2020
Polanco Sends Mariners to ALCS
Santander Goes Yard
Edgar Hits The Double
These Moments recreate memorable Division Series performances from different postseason runs. They are the best place to start because they provide a fixed 30 points without requiring you to build a specific Diamond Dynasty lineup.
If you are comfortable with Moments, complete them first and move directly through the objectives rather than spending extra time between attempts.
Retro Division Series PXP Missions
The remaining 20 points come from four PXP missions. Each mission awards five program points.
1,400 PXP With Braves
Earn 1,400 PXP using Atlanta Braves players.
1,400 PXP With Dodgers
Earn 1,400 PXP using Los Angeles Dodgers players.
2,026 PXP With 2026 AL Division Series Teams
Earn 2,026 PXP using players from the:
White Sox
Guardians
Yankees
Rays
2,026 PXP With 2026 NL Division Series Teams
Earn 2,026 PXP using players from the:
Braves
Dodgers
Padres
Brewers
The important detail is that the 2026 Division Series missions accept players from any of the listed teams. You do not need to earn 2,026 PXP separately with every team.
The most straightforward route is to divide the program into two parts.
Start with the Moments and collect the full 30 points.
This immediately takes you through the Rhys Hoskins, Logan Webb, and Gleyber Torres milestones. It also means you only need another 20 points from the PXP missions to finish the entire program.
For the NL missions, use Braves, Dodgers, Padres, and Brewers players.
Braves and Dodgers cards are especially useful because they count toward both their individual 1,400 PXP missions and the 2,026 NL Division Series mission.
For example, you can build a lineup with several Braves and Dodgers hitters while filling the remaining positions with eligible Padres and Brewers cards. This allows your PXP to contribute toward multiple objectives during the same games.
Put the players who need the most progress near the top of the batting order so they receive more plate appearances.
Once the NL missions are finished, switch to players from the White Sox, Guardians, Yankees, and Rays.
Because the AL mission accepts all four teams, you can mix them together in the same lineup. Use your best eligible hitters and prioritize cards that already perform well in your collection.
There is no reason to build an entirely new roster if you already have strong cards from these teams.
Best Mode for PXP Farming
The PXP missions can be completed in several Diamond Dynasty modes, including:
Play vs CPU
Mini Seasons
Conquest
Diamond Quest
Ranked
Ranked Co-Op
Battle Royale
Events
Weekend Classic
For a simple offline grind, Play vs CPU is an easy choice because you can control your lineup and focus entirely on the required PXP.
If you are already working through Conquest or Mini Seasons, there is also little reason to stop. Eligible PXP earned there counts toward the missions as well.
Lineup Tips
A good lineup can make the PXP grind noticeably smoother.
Put the cards you need to progress in the first few batting spots. Your strongest eligible hitters can fill the rest of the lineup, giving you a better chance to create more successful plate appearances.
For the NL mission, prioritize Braves and Dodgers cards because they contribute to two objectives simultaneously. Padres and Brewers players can then fill the remaining spots.
For the AL mission, mix White Sox, Guardians, Yankees, and Rays players according to the cards already available in your collection.
You should also check the team designation on your card before starting a game. Different versions of the same player can represent different teams, so simply recognizing the player's name is not enough.
How Long Does the Program Take?
The exact time depends on your Moments attempts and how quickly you generate PXP, but the program is designed to be relatively short.
The 10 Moments provide 30 points immediately, while the four PXP missions provide the final 20 points. Players who already have suitable cards can move through the program without a lengthy setup period.
The main advantage is that you do not need to complete a collection or obtain a special group of cards before starting the program.
Final Reward: 99 OVR Anthony Santander
Anthony Santander is the final player reward at 50 points. His card is a switch-hitting right fielder with strong offensive attributes, making him an appealing option for players looking for another bat.
He has particularly strong hitting numbers against both right- and left-handed pitching, while his defensive profile and speed are more moderate. That makes him especially interesting as a hitter who can also provide flexibility at right field, designated hitter, or as a bench option depending on your roster.
The fact that Santander is free through the program makes the final 50-point milestone worth reaching even if you already have a strong outfield.
The Retro Division Series Program is one of the easier ways to add several high-rated cards to your Diamond Dynasty roster. The most efficient order is simple: complete the 10 Moments for 30 points, then finish the four PXP missions for the remaining 20. The rewards also make the program useful for players looking to strengthen their roster without spending additional MLB The Show 26 Stubs.
When working on PXP, take advantage of overlapping requirements. Braves and Dodgers players can contribute to their individual missions while also progressing the NL Division Series objective, while the AL mission lets you freely combine White Sox, Guardians, Yankees, and Rays players.
Once all 50 points are earned, you will have four 99 OVR The Show Classics players, a Deluxe Choice Pack, and additional XP from the reward path.
