Monopoly GO will have events and tournaments coming out at regular intervals, and now a co-op racing mini-event is arriving titled Snow Racers, let us see what it brings to the table with Monopoly GO.

Snow Racers is a fun ‘finish to the line‘ minigame. Scheduled from January 9th to January 13th, 2025, you need to work together as a team, just like partner events.

You and your teammates race against other teams for coveted rewards, aiming to claim the top spot in the championship.

In this phase, you can invite friends to join your racing team, with each team needing a total of four players. If your team isn’t full by the end of the teaming-up period, the system will automatically assign teammates for you.

If you experience issues inviting friends, it might be because your friend hasn't logged into the game during the event. Players need to log in to participate. Once invited, they must accept the invitation to join your team.

After forming a 4-player team, Tycoon Racers will pair your team with another of similar skill levels to compete in a three-race championship. Each race position earns medals, and at the end of the three races, the team with the most medals wins the championship!

If you’re aiming for the top, it’s crucial to work with your team effectively, collect enough flags individually, and strategize to outpace your opponents. To earn flags, you can score quick wins, receive them as gifts, or collect them from various spots on the board.

Play With A Team Of Four, Or Play By Yourself (For Different Prizes)

For the first time, now able to opt into playing Snow Racers on a one-person team instead of partying up with three others! If you like playing the Tycoon Racers events in Monopoly Go but often find yourself feeling let down by teammates who don't quite pull their weight when it comes to earning and spending flags for the team, you can instead opt into being the master of your own Snow Racers destiny!

To choose to play by yourself instead of with a team, simply tick the slider at the bottom of the partner invite screen that says "I want to play solo!" When you toggle the button for this option, you'll receive a pop-up asking if you're sure of your decision. To confirm, click the orange "Race Solo" button at the bottom of the pop-up, and the game will instead put you on a team of one, pairing you with other solo racers instead of making you hope to compete in a one-versus-four-player Tycoon Racers event.

You can opt into this until the racing begins on January 9, whether you've joined a team yet. It appears as though you'll still earn the two cosmetics offered as the championship rewards should you place first - the Snowmobile board token and the new Winter Racing emoji - but the sticker packs you'll receive are different if you choose to go the race alone. Where team players earn a Wild Sticker and a purple sticker pack, your top prize includes a blue and pink sticker pack instead.

Lucky Rocket Booster:

This booster enhances the next Roll for you and your team by narrowing the Dice results to land between 4 and 6. With a shorter range, you’ll have a better shot at hitting those valuable Doubles and Triples.

Pro tip: Use the highest Multiplier when you have the Lucky Rocket to maximize your rewards!

When you get the Lucky Rocket, your entire team will get it as well.

You can get this booster through Lap Rewards and other events, so choose wisely and use it strategically!

After the races are over, the team with the most medals wins the championship. Rewards have not been confirmed, but according to previous events, the following can be expected.

1st Place: Wild Sticker + 2700 Free Dice Rolls + Snow Mobile Token  
2nd Place: 5-Star Purple Sticker Pack + 1000 Free Dice Rolls  
3rd Place: 4-Star Blue Sticker Pack + 500 Free Dice Rolls  
4th Place: 175 Free Dice Rolls
