The Grind: How Long Will It Take?

While the grind for Mastery camos is extensive, the removal of weapon leveling speeds up the process significantly. Instead of spending time ranking up each gun, you can jump straight into unlocking camos, reducing overall grind time. With 27 military camos and 12 Mastery camos available per weapon, players will have plenty to keep them busy across all three modes.

Multiplayer Camo System

In multiplayer, every weapon has nine military camos that you unlock first. These camos are the same for all weapons within the game mode, and each challenge typically involves achieving headshots. For special weapons like launchers, knives, and shotguns, different criteria apply (e.g., destroying killstreaks or getting one-shot kills). Once you've unlocked the nine military camos, you get two unique camo challenges for each weapon, which grant camos that can be applied to any weapon once unlocked.

After completing all military and unique camos, you can work toward unlocking the Gold camo for the weapon. Once you have Gold for all weapons in a weapon class, the Diamond Challenge unlocks.
