Diablo 4 players may be arguing nonstop about Blizzard’s underwhelming anniversary cosmetics, but experienced ARPG grinders know the real story. Starting June 2, Blizzard is accidentally creating one of the strongest leveling windows in Diablo 4 history by combining the Mother’s Blessing XP buff with the chaotic March of the Goblins event.
For anyone jumping into Season 13: Season of Reckoning, this is the perfect moment to create a fresh Paladin and sprint toward endgame progression at absurd speed.
Massive XP multipliers, Goblin loot explosions, boosted gold income, and overpowered Paladin builds are all colliding at once. If you plan correctly, hitting high Torment levels within a single day is completely realistic.
Why the June 2 Event Combo Is So Strong
The key is how Diablo 4 stacks experience bonuses.
Mother’s Blessing provides bonus XP and gold that multiplies with:
World Tier bonuses
Elixirs
Party bonuses
Seasonal event rewards
At the same time, March of the Goblins dramatically increases Treasure Goblin spawns across Sanctuary. Goblin caches can contain Legendary gear, crafting materials, and valuable progression items that normally take days to farm.
The result is simple: faster leveling and faster gearing at the exact same time.
The Fastest Paladin Leveling Route
| Time Played | Level Range | Main Activity | Goal |
| Hours 1–3 | 1–35 | Helltides & Blood Maiden | Fast XP farming |
| Hours 3–6 | 35–55 | Strongholds & Nightmare Dungeons | Group leveling |
| Hours 6–12 | 55–70+ | Auradin build transition | Endgame scaling |
| Final Push | 70–100 | The Pit & Goblin farming | Gear optimization |
Step 1: Helltide Speed Farming (Levels 1–35)
The moment your Paladin is created, skip the campaign and head directly into Helltides.
The current Paladin leveling setup is extremely simple. Focus your early skill points on:
Holy Bolts / Divine Arrow skills
Shield-based passives
Block Chance bonuses
Retribution effects
The real trick is farming around Blood Maiden summon zones. High-level players constantly clear these events, allowing low-level characters to gain enormous XP simply by contributing AOE damage.
During March of the Goblins, Treasure Goblins frequently appear inside Helltides, creating nonstop loot showers while you level.
Use both:
A standard Elixir
Elixir of Antivenin for the additional 5% XP bonus
With the event buffs active, Level 35 arrives incredibly fast.
Step 2: Abuse the Party Finder (Levels 35–55)
At Level 35, open Diablo 4’s Party Finder system and search for:
Stronghold reset groups
Nightmare Dungeon speed farms
Helltide rotations
The combination of:
Mother’s Blessing XP
Four-player party bonuses
Fast dungeon clears
causes XP gains to skyrocket.
One important tip: save Goblin caches in your stash until reaching higher World Tiers. Their rewards scale with character progression, meaning delayed opening can produce dramatically better gear.
Step 3: Transition Into the “GPU-Melting” Auradin Build
Once you approach Level 55, switch into the popular Auradin setup dominating community discussions.
The build revolves around:
Holy Aura damage
Shield Retribution
Cooldown Reduction stacking
Gameplay becomes hilariously simple. Activate your Aura, charge into enemies, and entire screens explode into golden effects.
Players jokingly call the build a “graphics card stress test” because elite packs disappear almost instantly under the massive AOE damage output.
This allows Paladins to comfortably clear Nightmare Dungeons far above their character level while maintaining extremely fast farming speed.
After entering Torment difficulties, focus entirely on:
The Pit
Goblin Horde farming
Reputation Board progression
The Anniversary Reputation Board rewards valuable cosmetics and huge amounts of upgrade materials, letting players masterwork gear far earlier than usual.
Even players criticizing Blizzard’s cosmetic rewards agree on one thing: the progression speed during this event is absurdly rewarding.
For leveling efficiency alone, this may become the best Diablo 4 farming week of Season 13.
