If your Monopoly GO album is starting to look frustratingly close to completion, the Sticker Boom is one event you should not waste. It does not magically change every bad pack into a new sticker, but it gives you something much more valuable: more sticker pulls from the packs and sticker rewards you were already going to open. Here is everything you should know before join Monopoly GO Sticker Boom Event.

Sticker Boom is a limited-time flash event designed to increase the number of stickers obtained from sticker packs and certain sticker rewards. The current event information confirms that Sticker Boom can provide up to 50% extra stickers and specifically notes that Wild Stickers are not increased.
1-star (green): 1 → 2
2-star (yellow): 2 → 3
3-star (pink): 2 → 3
4-star (blue): 4 → 6
5-star (purple): 6 → 9
For example, imagine you have several sticker packs sitting in your inventory after completing milestones. Opening them normally gives you the standard number of stickers. Opening them during Sticker Boom gives you additional sticker opportunities without requiring you to earn another copy of the pack.
This is where many players misunderstand the event. Sticker Boom primarily gives you more stickers, not a guaranteed upgrade to every sticker's rarity.
It does not mean a normal pack suddenly has a guaranteed Gold Sticker. It also does not mean every extra sticker will be a card you are missing. In fact, duplicate stickers are still part of the game. You can open more stickers and still see duplicates.
But that does not make Sticker Boom useless. Every additional sticker is another opportunity to hit a card you need. If the extra cards are duplicates, they can still increase your Stars and provide trading material. So the correct way to evaluate Sticker Boom is through volume, not guaranteed quality.
The biggest mistake is opening every sticker pack as soon as you receive it. If you know Sticker Boom is coming, ask yourself a simple question:
“Why open one pack now when the same pack can give me more stickers later?”
If a pack is eligible for the Sticker Boom bonus, delaying the opening can increase the number of stickers you receive from that same reward.
However, when Sticker Boom begins, your first priority should not necessarily be opening packs. Your first priority should be making sure you have enough packs to justify the opening session.
So before the event:
1. Stop wasting packs
If a sticker pack is not urgent, consider saving it for the Boom. Especially avoid opening valuable packs immediately before the event simply because they are available.
2. Push milestone rewards
If you are close to a milestone that awards a sticker pack, try to plan your Dice Rolls so that you can claim the reward during the Sticker Boom period.
3. Save Quick Wins when practical
If your daily objectives are about to award a sticker-related reward, do not automatically claim everything before the Boom. If the reward can be claimed during Sticker Boom and you can safely wait, timing the claim can increase the value of your session.
4. Keep your Stars working for you
Duplicates are not worthless. A duplicate contributes to your sticker collection's Star economy and can eventually help with other reward opportunities. That means Sticker Boom can produce value in two directions:
New stickers → album progression
Duplicates → Stars/trading → future rewards
This is why opening more stickers is useful even when your album is already heavily populated.
5. Prioritize Your Best Packs
Higher-value packs generally provide more sticker slots, so the absolute benefit from a 50% increase is larger when the base pack contains more stickers.
For example, if one pack gives you four stickers and another gives you six, a 50% increase has a much bigger impact on the six-sticker pack in terms of total additional pulls.
Imagine you open ten packs during the event and receive several duplicates. At first glance, that may feel disappointing. But those duplicates can become:
Stars → Vault/reward progress
Tradeable stickers → Missing cards
Set completion → Dice and other rewards
Extra cards → Better trading flexibility
In other words, you should not judge a Sticker Boom session solely by the number of “New” labels appearing on your screen.
A successful session is one that improves your overall album position.
Sometimes the most valuable outcome is one missing five-star sticker.
Sometimes it is several tradeable duplicates.
Sometimes it is simply enough Stars to move you toward another reward.
One of the best ways to extend the value of Sticker Boom is to trade immediately afterward. Before opening your packs, make a list of the stickers you are missing.
Separate them into:
Easy-to-find missing stickers
High-star missing stickers
Gold stickers
Stickers available through current trading opportunities
Final stickers needed to complete a set
Then, after the Boom, compare your new duplicates with your missing list. This prevents you from randomly trading away valuable cards.
If you pull a duplicate five-star card that another player needs and you are missing another five-star card, that duplicate can become far more valuable through a direct trade than it would be sitting unused in your collection.
