Amazon Games has announced a new round of server merges for New World: Aeternum, set to take place this month across multiple regions. The developer has detailed the affected servers and provided guidance for players on how to prepare for the transition.

Server Merge Timeline and Preparations

The merging process will begin on February 18th, when the affected servers will undergo a restart. During this time, character creation and transfers on these servers will be disabled. Additionally, all ongoing Wars on the servers scheduled for merging will be refunded and canceled to ensure a smooth transition.

Players with characters on servers that are being retired will be granted expedited transfer opportunities between February 18th and 25th, allowing them to relocate to a new server quickly. Furthermore, Amazon Games has confirmed that any player who purchased a server transfer token within the past two weeks to move from a destination server to a soon-to-be-closed server will receive a full refund.

Affected Servers by Region

The upcoming server merges will impact several regions, consolidating multiple servers into fewer, more populated realms:

EU Region:

Andrometus, Asterion, Taurus, and Siren will merge into Aries.

Apus, Phoenix, and Sagitta will consolidate into Draco.

Aaru will merge into Nysa.

US-East:

Cathaysia will fold into Hudsonland.

Arctica and Kalahari will merge into Rosa.

Kenorland and Cimmeria will unite under Pangea.

Maramma will merge into Valhalla.

US-West:

Bellatrix and El Nath will merge into Aquarius.

SA-East:

Cursa will integrate into Alkaid.

AP Southeast:

Pisces will be merged into Cerberus.

This round of merges is relatively smaller in scope compared to previous ones, but players on the affected servers should still prepare accordingly to avoid potential disruptions.

Finalizing the Merge

The server merge process will conclude on February 25th, at which point the affected servers will be permanently retired. If players have not manually transferred their characters by this deadline, their characters, inventories, and Company affiliations will automatically be relocated to the designated merged servers. Additionally, any Company that previously owned territory on a merging server will receive refunds for lost holdings.

With these changes, New World: Aeternum aims to create a more vibrant and engaging player experience by consolidating populations and fostering dynamic in-game interactions. As Amazon Games continues to fine-tune the MMO, players can expect further updates to enhance the game’s overall stability and community engagement. For more game information, please visit u4gm
