Spore Lung is located deep in randomly generated caves, and must be destroyed to halt the spread of Gloom.

You'll face new Terminid threats underground—including burrowers (Warrior, Bile Spewer, Charger variants) and aerial Dragonroaches.
Heavy weaponry (e.g., the Hellbomb Backpack) or high-damage Stratagems are required.

Step-by-Step Mission Walkthrough

Step 1: Gear Up Smart

What I bring:

Hellbomb Backpack or an equally heavy hitter (like Recoilless Rifle, Orbital Precision Strike, or similar).
Flashlight (or head torch stratagem) to light your way in total darkness.
Medium–Heavy damage weapons—MGs or assault rifles—to chip away at Spore Lung if heavy tools fail.

Step 2: Drop In & Locate the Spore Lung

Cave layout is random, so keep your map handy.

Step 3: Clear the Path

Use your flashlight to reveal the way.

Position yourself under the Lung's “umbrella” of spores.
Deploy Hellbomb Backpack or heavy Stratagem directly underneath.

Step 5: Extraction & Aftermath

After destruction, expect a brief window to extract before the area destabilizes—or more bugs show up.
