What is a Headhunt?
Headhunts are special events where you do fun activities like:
Fighting bosses (big strong enemies).
Killing specific monsters in certain areas.
Joining NPC guards to patrol and clear bad guys.
Rare Diablo 4 Items can be obtained by defeating powerful bosses. Headhunt Whispers make Season 7 fun and exciting! You can fight scary enemies, collect cool materials, and craft powerful gems.
Who Are the Headrotten?
The Headrotten are creepy, sick monsters. When you kill them, they drop Restless Rot, a material you need to craft Occult Gems.
Sometimes, when you finish tasks in Headhunts, you’ll find Exposed Roots. These might spawn a Headless Husk (a tough enemy). If you’re lucky, the Husk might be possessed by a Fugitive Head.
To increase your chance of finding Fugitive Heads:
Play on Torment IV difficulty.
Use the Draught of Whispers item.
When you defeat a Fugitive Head, you get special materials to make Occult Gems. These gems come in Magic, Rare, and Legendary forms. They make your character stronger in exciting ways!
How to Craft Occult Gems
Occult Gems are made at the Tree of Whispers using:
A Fugitive Head.
Restless Rot.
Gem Fragments.
These gems can boost your powers. Legendary gems are the strongest and give amazing effects.
Tips for Headhunts
Play on harder difficulties: Higher tiers like Torment IV give better rewards.
Use Draught of Whispers: This helps you find Fugitive Heads more often.
Plan your tasks: Try to finish many tasks in one run.
