Diablo 4 S15 PTR Tier List Warlock Blazing Scream Meta

Diablo 4 Season 15 PTR is already giving players a pretty good idea of where the new meta could be heading. After several days of testing, Warlock has quickly emerged as one of the strongest classes on the PTR, with several builds showing impressive endgame potential. Players are also experimenting with different Diablo 4 Items to find the best combinations for these new setups.

The biggest standout so far is Blazing Scream, while Apocalypse and other Occult/DoT setups are also getting plenty of attention.

This is still an early PTR tier list, so nothing here should be treated as final. Skills, Uniques, Aspects, and Soul Splinter interactions can still be adjusted before Season 15 officially launches.

Why Is Warlock So Strong?

Warlock is benefiting from several changes working together rather than one simple buff.

The Elegy rework, stronger Aspect interactions, and new Soul Splinter system all give the class more ways to scale damage. This is especially noticeable when combining Warlock's new tools with effects such as Black Soulstone.

Barbarian, meanwhile, has received some less welcome changes. Reduced value from Strength scaling has made several traditional setups feel weaker, and it is already becoming a common complaint among Barbarian players testing the PTR.

Warlock Blazing Scream

If you want to test one Warlock build first, Blazing Scream is probably the best place to start.

The main reason is the reworked Elegy. Blazing Scream now works as an Archfiend skill, giving the build a much stronger damage ceiling. The smaller skeletons also contribute meaningful damage, allowing the build to flood the screen with additional sources of damage.

The setup becomes even more interesting when paired with Infernal Homunculus and Soul Splinters.

The gameplay is fairly simple: keep Blazing Scream going, position yourself well, and let the projectiles and skeletons tear through enemy packs.

Its biggest strength is clearing. Dense groups disappear quickly, making it a strong option for Pit progression, high-Torment content, and general farming.

Single-target damage can require better positioning, especially against bosses, but the overall clear speed is hard to ignore.

Apocalypse and Occult DoT Builds

Blazing Scream is not the only Warlock setup worth testing.

Apocalypse and Occult/DoT builds are also showing strong potential thanks to improved damage scaling and better mobility.

The Overwhelming Aspect is particularly interesting because stacking its bonuses can provide significant damage increases.

Abilities such as Dark Prison and Endless Barrage also feel better when you can continue moving while casting them. That quality-of-life improvement matters a lot in high-level content where standing still can get you killed.

Compared with Blazing Scream, Apocalypse generally feels more focused on sustained damage, control, and keeping pressure on enemies.

Soul Splinters and Black Soulstone

Soul Splinters are another major part of the Season 15 PTR meta.

For Warlock, Black Soulstone is especially interesting because its stacking damage bonus fits perfectly with builds that can quickly kill large numbers of enemies.

The downside is increased incoming damage, so players need to decide whether the extra damage is worth the risk. Legacy Uniques such as Leoric's Crown or Stone of Jordan can also become useful when trying to balance the drawbacks.

For the current PTR, Warlock is the class to watch.

Blazing Scream is the standout option for fast clearing, while Apocalypse and Occult/DoT builds offer strong alternatives for players who prefer sustained damage and control.

Rogue, Spiritborn, and Necromancer remain competitive, but Warlock currently has the most exciting combination of new mechanics and build potential.

Just remember that this is an early PTR ranking, not the final Season 15 meta. For now, though, if you're jumping into the PTR, Warlock should be the first class you try.
