Storage is an important part of MapleStory Classic World because it lets you move items between characters on the same account. You can save equipment, potions, quest items, and crafting materials instead of carrying everything in your inventory. It also helps you manage Mesos when you need to prepare another character or save materials for future recipes. Here is where to find Storage Keepers and how to make better use of your storage space.

MS Classic World Storage Guide: NPC Locations, Fees, and Inventory Tips

Where to Find Storage Keepers

Storage becomes available after you reach Victoria Island. Maple Island has no Storage Keeper, so you must carry your items until you reach a town with storage access. You can use the same shared storage at different locations.

Town or LocationStorage Keeper
Lith HarborMr. Kim or Pason
HenesysMr. Lee, in Henesys Park
ElliniaMr. Park
PerionMr. Wang
Kerning CityMr. Hong
SleepywoodMr. Oh
Free Market EntranceScrooge

Mr. Lee stands in Henesys Park, not in the main town square. Lith Harbor remains less clear because available records list both Mr. Kim and Pason. Check their dialogue in-game if you cannot find the storage service.

How Shared Storage Works

Storage is shared by all characters on the same account. Deposit an item with one character, then log into another character to withdraw it. You can use this system to pass suitable weapons, armor, potions, ores, and other materials between your characters. However, some bound, restricted, or quest-related items may not be transferable, so check the item and storage interface before depositing them.

Storage Fees and Citizenship Discounts

Depositing items costs mesos based on the number of occupied storage slots. Available community records list a base fee of 100 mesos per slot, and a full stack usually takes only one slot. Citizenship can lower this fee in your active citizenship town.

Citizenship GradeDiscountListed Fee per Slot
Traveler5%95 mesos
Visitor10%90 mesos
Helpful Stranger15%85 mesos
Recognized Guest20%80 mesos
Town Resident25%75 mesos
Trusted Neighbor30%70 mesos
Distinguished Citizen35%65 mesos
Town Patron40%60 mesos
Guardian of the Village45%55 mesos
Citizen of Honor50%50 mesos

The discount system is listed as a Citizenship benefit, but the exact fees above come from older community records. Treat them as reference amounts and check the fee shown by the Storage Keeper before depositing many items.

How to Get Citizenship Discounts

Characters can join the Citizenship system from level 12 in Henesys or Kerning City. Talk to Arthur in Henesys Town Hall or Roxy in Kerning City Civic Center to get started. Complete requests on the town’s Community Board to earn Contribution and raise your grade. The storage discount applies in your active citizenship town, so use Mr. Lee or Mr. Hong to receive the local benefit. The v1.1.0 update also reduced the Contribution requirements for Citizenship grades 4 through 10.

How to Deposit and Withdraw Items

Talk to a Storage Keeper and open the storage window. Select the inventory tab, choose the item, and use the deposit control. Check the fee before confirming. To take an item out, select it in storage and use the withdrawal control. Your character must have an open slot in the matching inventory tab. You can also use shared storage to move eligible Mesos between characters on the same account.

Storage Expansion and Home Storage

The Storage Room 5-slot Coupon costs 5,000 NX and adds five storage slots, up to a listed maximum of 150. The exact starting capacity has not been confirmed. Selective 5-slot Coupons also expand the Equip, Use, Set-up, or Etc inventory tabs by five slots each, up to 150 per tab. These coupons do not expand the Cash tab.

Housing arrived with the October 21 Grand Launch. Players can place storage furniture, such as a Rusty Safe or Reinforced Safe, in their home to access the same shared storage. Your home is another access point, not a separate bank, and normal storage fees still apply.

What to Keep and How to Save Space

Give priority to equipment for alternate characters, quest materials, ores, gems, and crafting supplies. Keep spare potions if you use them often, but sell low-level equipment that is easy to replace. Some quests require items to stay in your character’s inventory, so do not store active quest materials until you have checked the objective. Crafting materials are also worth saving: five Leather make one Processed Leather, while ten Pig’s Ribbons make one Processed Cloth.

Combine stackable items before depositing them and organize equipment by character. If you need extra funds for equipment and supplies, you can also consider options such as buy MapleStory Classic World Mesos. Leave enough inventory space before withdrawing items, and avoid moving items repeatedly just to rearrange storage.
