The Hierophant offers a mixture of non-conventional sources of damage, defenses, and overall utility aimed towards spell and totem users. They have access to added totem limit, with totem enhancements and bonuses that scale with added totems to accompany it. They can make use of a large mana pool proficiently by converting it to defensive bonuses while also conserving and regenerating it. They can also use Arcane Surge with massive bonuses to spellcasters attached to it, along with endurance and power charge generation. [PoE 3.3 Build] Guardians farmable, Apep's Darkpact Quad-Totem Hiero Hierophant Build
[PoE 3.3 Build] Easy to Cap Resists Freezing Pulse Totem Hierophant Build
[PoE 3.3 Build] Beginner Friendly Flameblast Totem Hierophant Build
[PoE 3.3 Build] 10k ES, 77% Evade, 1.8 Million Shaper DPS
NO.1 [PoE 3.3 Build] Guardians farmable, Apep's Darkpact Quad-Totem Hiero Hierophant Build
Should you adore the Dark Pact concept and would like to attempt it devoid of either working with the somewhat cumbersome self-cast skeleton summoning version or needing 4% life leech+vaal pact for the self-cast version.
Smooth leveling Acts 1-10 including all bosses without the need of difficulty. Atziri down at lvl 72 and farmable, Uber Izaro down at lvl 75 and farmable, runs more than maps as much as T11 so far. Only level 76 at the moment. This Build would generally wait longer to post a build, but this build might be most exciting you've got had within this game given that you started playing in an invasion.
Leveling Gear Guides:
1-27: Pick your favorite AOE skill--anything will do. I happen to like lightning tendrils+orb of storms as a combo. For the bandit quest, I killed all for the skill points.
28-61: Pick up dark pact and a tabula. Find two wands with the best low added damage to spells and cast speed you can for your level. If they are available, grab a pair of Hrimsorrow gloves for the flat damage to spells. If they are available, catch a Berek's pass or Berek's grip for the same reason. (I had no gloves or rings while leveling and it was not a problem at all)
Until level 62, your gem set up will be DP>Spell totem>Added lightning>Added Chaos (added cold until 31)>Controlled Destruction>Faster Casting. You can ascend right around lvl 31 and 55. First two ascendancies are Pursuit of Faith and Ritual of Awakening. You may find self-cast summon skeletons very helpful during this phase, both for increasing the base totem damage significantly and pinpointing the totems' castings.
62+: Ditch, all of the elemental gear, equip your Apep's, destroy the world. As soon as you hit 62 and equip the weapons, you can do your merc ascendancy and take Divine guidance, which will boost your Tankiness significantly for A9 and A10.
Leveling Skill:
Step 1: Begin with sanctity, retribution, MOM and the nodes behind it.
Step 2: Grab light of divinity, Purity of Flesh, and head to Ancestral bond. You should reach Ancestral relationship right around level 28, and should not take it before then.
Step 3: Grab amplify and then take all of the Witch area nodes.
Step 4: Grab Quick recovery, then straight down to totemic mastery
Step 5: Grab totemic zeal and Sentinel
Step 6: Take the remaining life, mana, and jewel sockets
Step 7: Finish the life wheel, Then take remaining life, mana and damage nodes to taste, trying to keep mana at roughly 2/3 of life as you go.

NO.2 [PoE 3.3 Build] Easy to Cap Resists Freezing Pulse Totem Hierophant Build
PoE 3.3 gave Freezing Pulse a surprising massive buff. We get flat out a lot more damage plus the damage fall-off is limited to 50% in the finish of projectiles and not 0%. In my opinion, Freezing Pulse was already the best Totem skill for mapping, and now that should not be in query anymore. Due to significantly less harm fall-off, it is not as significant to scale projectile speed anymore. It'll still be good to have to kill stuff off-screen. But we can probably drop Karui Ward, or the projectile speed enchant. During league start, you could attempt not operating the Quicker Projectiles gem, but you might want to have a minimum of some projectile speed, which Karui Ward could supply cheaply. (until we have 20% top quality gem)
Pros:
+ NO gear requirements (except two threshold jewels), so cheap and SSF viable
+ Transitions nicely from leveling to mapping without any problems and significant investments
+ Easy to cap resists
+ Easy to reach 7k-8k EHP with 40% MoM
+ Able to clear maps up to T15 comfortably
+ Very safe because we freeze all minions except bosses instantly
+ Can go Magic Find
+ Can run all map mods (I would reroll Ele-Reflect since your totems 1 or 2-shot themselves, but clearing the map is possible)
+ Can reach 1.5 million Shaper DPS (300k DPS per Totem) - this is specific damage gear, 80-100k DPS is enough for mapping
+ Possible to kill guardians and shaper with some investments
Cons:
- No leech
- Totems
Bandits:
Alira, since both CritMulti and ManaRegen are very good for us and resists are never wrong.
Ascendancies:
A pursuit of Faith - Ritual of Awakening - Conviction of Power - Divine Guidance
Don't be scared of labs. You can do every lab as soon as you reach the required level. If you have a 6link and Freezing Pulse lvl18, you should be fine to solo Uberlab (on SC).
Pantheon:
Major: Brine King, if no Kaom's Roots, else probably Solaris
Minor: Gruthkul
Leveling Guides:
- Start out with Freezing Pulse + Arcane Surge (+ Added Lightning)
- Get Clarity and Flame Dash at level 10. (we drop Clarity when we get a Clear Mind jewel)
- With level 12 you can use Firestorm. Change your links to Faster Casting and Controlled Destruction after beating Maligaro. Craft a +1 fire wand or sceptre (ruby ring + magic wand/sceptre 3-linked BBB + orb of alteration). Don't stop levelling your Freezing Pulse gem. You could also start levelling Increased Critical Strikes. Link Arcane Surge to Flame Dash if possible.
- You can take any Herald gem to boost your damage a bit. Drop them later when you spec into Mind over Matter.
- With level 28 you can use Flameblast (after killing Gravicius), right when we spec into Ancestral Bond for Dual Totems (don't take Ancestral Bond before you have Flameblast). You should also find a BBBR 4-link soon to link: Flameblast, Spell Totem, Faster Casting, Controlled Destruction.
- Around level 43 we should finish the quest in act5 which gives us a Freezing Pulse threshold jewel. Invest your first chaos/alchemy to buy the second jewel and place them in the newly acquired slots on our skill tree. Replace Flameblast with Freezing Pulse. Remove AoE nodes.
- In Act 4 we can buy Cast When Damage Taken and Immortal Call and link them. We also get a Lightning Golem.
- We started picking up some crit nodes and got a Diamond Flask from the Silver Locket Quest in act 7, so we can drop Elemental Overload now. Replace Controlled Destruction with Increased Critical Strikes.
- If you did the Fallen from Grace quest in Act 6, you can buy all gems now from Lilly. You might wanna have a look at the "Gem links" section and see if you can add more useful gems or start levelling support gems. But don't try to get that exact setup right now. It's usually not worth to invest jeweler or chromatics in leveling items (if you are in desperate need of gem links use essences on 4-links you find).
- Try to get your hands on a Tabula. This should be your first big investment. You can buy single gear pieces for 1c if you are not resist capped or just have really awful gear in some slot.
- If you have found or bought decent gear pieces, color and link them. You should try to complete your gem links now and get decently rolled flasks

NO.3 [PoE 3.3 Build] Beginner Friendly Flameblast Totem Hierophant Build
No modifications In Poe 3.3. You realize a lot of individuals are interested in the ignite changes however they do not matter at all for this build. It's impossible to get decent ignite damage, as a) we are not scaling it anyplace and b) we emphasize quick hits (as a consequence of getting forced to scale cast speed and possessing four totems) over single huge hits. Genuinely, you would only own a couple of thousand ignite DPS with no it, and in case you attempt to scale it much more you will drop more hit DPS than you'd gain ignite DPS. Elemental Concentrate is still most effective.
Flameblast charges up when you channel it, rising in harm and AoE the longer you hold it ahead of release. Conventional Flameblast builds have struggled using the awkwardness of standing still for such an extended time. This build does away with that by getting totems do it for us, letting us run about at our leisure while our Totems blow up the whole screen. We can reap the benefits of Flameblast's massive damage without compromise, and add on a solid defensive foundation via Mind over Matter and great excellent of life using Hierophant.
Pros:
+ High damage.
+ A large area of effect
+ Can do all map mods.
+ Can do all content up to and including Shaper quickly and safely.
+ Totems are naturally safe
+ Straightforward, hardcore viable, beginner friendly, self-found friendly build.
Cons:
- Very dependent on cast speed due to needing to hit 10 Flameblast stacks before the totem releases.
- Can feel quite clunky without sufficiently increased cast speed (pretty much anything under 100%).
- A quite similar playstyle, stats, etc. to Glacial Cascade totems, but GC does not suffer from the cast speed problems noted above.
- Totem playstyle is offputting to many people.
Ascendancy:
Normal: Pursuit of Faith
Cruel: Ritual of Awakening
Merciless: Conviction of Power
Endgame: Divine Guidance
Bandits:
Kill all, or help Alira. Alira mostly better on a low budget, as she helps you cap resists.
Pantheon:
Primary god - Lunaris provides movement speed and physical DR, both of which are excellent. Make that your default, but feel free to use Brine King if you think yourself needing the stun resistance.
Minor god - Gruthkul does the most.
Leveling Guides:
Levels 1-11: Level with Frostbolt and Flame Totem. Get the Quicksilver Flask from killing Hailrake (heck, use the second character and get two if you don't have any lying around already). Pick up Clarity and Flame Dash after Brutus.
Levels 12-28: Grab Firestorm and use that and Flame Totem. Grab Mind over Matter and its subsequent nodes for endless mana and Tankiness. Head towards Ancestral Bond but don't take it.
Level 28-45: You can start using Flameblast totems right from level 28. You can also continue with Firestorm + Flame Totem, or use Bladefall or Glacial Cascade totems. Leveling should be pretty breezy from here on. Pick up Ancestral Bond if you're going totems now, do standard lab, and head into Witch
Level 46-65: Start picking up a little crit. Do cruel lab.
Level 66+: Farm up in Blood Aqueducts, get your endgame gear rolling, pick up lots more crit, finish up your ascendancy. Pick up jewel sockets as you get the jewels for them.

NO.4 [PoE 3.3 Build] Very high single target damage League Starter Soul Mantle Dark Pact Totems Hierophant Build
This build revolves around the unique item Soul Mantle. It is one of the strongest uniques in the game, as it allows us to get a free 7-link and an extra totem. It also increases our totem life by 50%, which is mostly a level 17 Added Chaos Damage Support for Dark Pact.
Pros:
+ Very high single target damage
+ Active playstyle
+ Cheap to get started
+ Can do every content except Hall of Grandmasters - every map mod
+ Tanky, with high EHP and regen
+ Good evident speed in linear maps
+ (Nearly) Curse-immune
Cons:
- Not optimal for open map layouts
- Mediocre damage until you get your Soul Mantle
- It's still a totem build
- Performs bad against mobile bosses
- Dealing maximum damage requires standing still
- Can't use totem MTX on Soul Mantle
Bandits:
Help Alira for crit multiplier, mana regeneration, and resistances.
Pantheon:
Major God: Soul of the Brine King for Stun protection.
Minor God: Prefer Soul of Ryslatha for emergency healing and Flask recharge in the Labyrinth, but there are a lot of good other options.
Ascendancy:
Standard Lab: Pursuit of Faith
Cruel Lab: Ritual of Awakening
Merc Lab: Divine Guidance

NO.5 [PoE 3.3 Build] 10k ES, 77% Evade, 1.8 Million Shaper DPS
No alterations for Poe 3.3. Heart of thunder buffs results in about 5% more harm then final patch so some more damage.
This build makes use of a lot of low-priced unique items, most of the endgame most effective in slot items price next to absolutely nothing.
Can do any map mod and clear all the content material. Many of us now have employed this build and taken down all guardians, shaper and uber Atziri deathless.
Only two content material, although achievable is an additional hassle then its worth
- Elemental reflect maps
- Hall of the grandmasters
Pros:
+ Fortify
+ 10k+ ES
+ 43% Chance to block
+ Guardian evade chance: 53% base, 77% with blind and 84% with shade and jade flask
+ 5% ES regenerated per second + faster ES recharge rate and started time
+ 4 Distracting totems end up taking most of the damage anyway
+ Ignite and shock immunity
Ascendancy:
A pursuit of Faith - Divine Guidance - Sanctuary Of Thought - Ritual Of Awakening
The first lab gets +1 totem. The 2nd lab has little impact, and it can wait. 3rd lab gives excellent ES. 4th lab for +1 Totem. Again.
Skill Choice
lvl 1-28 Molten strike with an ancestral call
lvl 28+ Ancestral Warchief taking familial bond in the tree for +1 totem
Leveling Gear
Leveling gear and path into endgame stuff. The highlighted items cost 1c or less. You should be able to start mapping wearing just these highlighted(cheap) items. For a smoother experience keep an eye on level requirements and upgrade right when you hit them
Chest - Zahndethus Cassock Lvl 37 - Geofri's Sanctuary lvl 64 - Atziri's Splendour lvl 75
Weapon - Hand of Thought and Motion lvl 22 - Hand of Wisdom and Action lvl 68
Helm - Doedre's Scorn lvl 39 - Vertex lvl 62
Gloves - Lochtonial Caress lvl 1 - Asenath's Gentle Touch lvl 25 - Shaper's Touch lvl 66
Boots - Shavronne's Pace lvl 32 - Sin Trek lvl 62
Belt - Bated Breath lvl 22 - Cyclopean Coil lvl 68
Shield - Crest of Perandus lvl 8 - Atziri's Mirror lvl 54
Ring - Timeclasp lvl 22 - Perandus Signet lvl 1
Amulet - Astramentis lvl 20
Bandits: killed all
Pantheon:
Soul of the Brine King Pantheon for the unlock immunity. Evasion prevents Stunlock from attacks, but it's good being able to charge away from a stunning firestorm. None of the other options appeal that much anyway
Soul of Abberath is my preferred minor pantheon bonus. Immunity to burning ground is handy
