ARC Raiders Expedition 5 is almost here, and this is the last Expedition players will be able to complete before the system goes on a break until early 2027.
There is no Last Call period this time, so missing the registration window means missing Expedition 5. If you plan to participate, now is the time to check your stash and start collecting the required materials.
The biggest rewards include the complete Zenith Outfit, additional stash space, Mystery Rewards and Expedition progression bonuses. Here is everything you need to prepare.
ARC Raiders Expedition 5 Materials Checklist
The first four phases require 16 different materials and 485 total ARC Raiders Items.
| Phase | Material | Quantity |
| Foundation | Metal Parts | 150 |
| Plastic Parts | 100 | |
| ARC Alloy | 80 | |
| Magnet | 15 | |
| Core Systems | Durable Cloth | 30 |
| Duct Tape | 25 | |
| Mechanical Components | 20 | |
| Voltage Converter | 10 | |
| Framework | ARC Circuitry | 20 |
| Speaker Component | 15 | |
| Bastion Cell | 5 | |
| Magnetic Accelerator | 3 |
The largest requirements are Metal Parts, Plastic Parts and ARC Alloy, so these should be easy to identify and start stockpiling early. The bigger concern is the rare Phase 3 and Phase 4 items, including Bastion Cells, Magnetic Accelerators, Advanced Mechanical Components and Rocketeer Drivers.
Which Materials Should You Farm First?
Basic materials such as Metal Parts and Plastic Parts should not require too much dedicated farming. Keep them whenever you find them and avoid selling or recycling them until your Foundation requirements are complete.
For Mechanical Components, crafting can also help. This gives you another way to turn excess basic resources into an Expedition requirement instead of depending entirely on random loot.
Electrical and mechanical loot areas are particularly useful when you still need Voltage Converters, ARC Circuitry or other advanced components. Duffel Bags are also worth checking because their loot pool can contain several useful Expedition materials.
The general rule is simple: focus on the rare materials first, then clean up the common materials once your checklist is nearly complete.
How to Prepare for the Load Stage
The final Load Stage does not require specific materials. Instead, you need to meet value requirements across four categories.
| Category | Required Value |
| Combat Items | 200,000 |
| Survival Items | 100,000 |
| Provisions | 150,000 |
| Materials | 300,000 |
This makes stash management especially important. Do not sell every expensive item you find simply because you do not need it immediately. High-value Combat Items, Survival Items, Provisions and Materials can all contribute toward the Load Stage.
The 300,000 Materials requirement is particularly large, so keeping valuable materials in your stash can save you a lot of farming later.
With only a few days before registration opens, preparation should be divided into three priorities.
First, check your stash against all 16 required materials. Separate everything you already have from the items you still need.
Second, prioritize rare requirements. Items such as Bastion Cells, Magnetic Accelerators, ARC Circuitry and Rocketeer Drivers are much more likely to delay your preparation than Metal Parts or Plastic Parts.
Third, start saving valuable items for the Load Stage. Instead of converting everything into Coins, keep enough high-value loot to build your required Combat, Survival, Provisions and Materials totals.
It is also worth keeping some flexible storage space available. Finding a rare Expedition item is much less useful if your stash is already completely full.
Expedition 5 Rewards
Expedition 5 is especially valuable for players who want to finish their Expedition progression.
The headline reward is the final part of the Zenith Outfit, allowing players who complete all five Expeditions to obtain the complete set. The Expedition also provides additional stash space, Mystery Rewards and progression toward the Expedition skill-point bonuses.
There is also a new opt-in quest reset system. Players who do not want to repeat their quest progress can choose to keep their existing progression instead.
For newer players, Expedition 5 is also a chance to catch up on some previous Expedition progression, while experienced players have another opportunity to finish their collection before the system takes its planned break.
Is Expedition 5 Worth Doing?
For veteran Raiders, Expedition 5 is an easy recommendation. It is the final Expedition before the planned break until early 2027, and completing it can provide the final Zenith Outfit rewards, additional stash space and progression bonuses.
New players should still consider joining if they can prepare their materials and complete the requirements during the three-week window.
