Part warrior, part ninja, Slayers are a whirling bringer of destruction. They wield massive two-handed broadswords that give them a distinct advantage in combat. Because of TERA's use of a real-time combat system, you will be able to deal with attacks on all sides. While other classes would be in serious trouble, you can spin and deal damage in a three hundred and sixty-degree radius. Do not be afraid to have fun with a Slayer character, they can be a really fun way to build your fortune. By the way, TERA gold farming can be tedious and your dreams to have enough gold can take much longer than you can anticipate, buying TERA gold is a far more convenient option.

Playstyle

Gold farming with your Slayer means that you will be a master of inflicting damage while dodging any damage aimed at you with your agility. Starting out, your Slayer will have the deft skill of dodging and rolling behind the monster, allowing him to attack from behind. Use this to farm gold by yourself and also to survive the Mobs or Bosses as you take them on in a group.

Group hunting with a Slayer means that you will have a much easier time dealing damage. Even new slayers have a combo that will multiply in power as it is repeated and can deal vast amounts of damage to monsters. Triumphant Shout will be something to utilize frequently as it will instantly restore one hundred mana points to you and keep you from losing mana points for twenty seconds. This will effectively turn you into a skill utilizing death dealer as you can load up some attacks and not worry about not having the resources to cast them.

When facing a Boss with a group, your job as a Slayer will be to attack when the Boss is distracted. Your agility will allow you to get behind him or to the side of the Boss and attack him while your group's Tank is occupying his attention directly in front. Combos that end with skills are a very good way to take huge chunks of hit points from the Boss. Use the standard skill that you start with, called Combo Attack, and then finish it with Overhand Strike. This powerful blow that comes from above with be cast faster when combined with your Combo Attack, dealing a lot of damage in a short amount of time. Your goal is to unleash this assault without drawing the attention of the Boss so that you can escape and ready for your next attack. This is the advantage of having a Slayer character in your group. He will be able to attack without fear of being squashed by the Boss, but also deal more damage with his melee assault and powerful attack skills. It's a little bit of the best of both worlds when it comes to a melee character, and you should definitely take advantage of this when playing a Slayer.

Solo Grinding

Solo gold farming with a Slayer is definitely doable. This is where quick thinking and quick reflexes best come into play. You will have to be a master of dodging attacks and delivering punishing strikes in the limited time frame and small openings your dodging allows for. At level twenty-two, you will be able to use Distant Blade, which will attack a target up to three times with a magical incarnation of your blade. This will enable you to inflict damage while attracting the attention of a monster for slaying. When things get desperate and you are low on hit points, use Fury Strike. This skill will unleash a vicious sword slash that will do more damage the lower your hit points are.  This can be a great tool for staying alive despite being badly injured, as your powerful strike could finish off your enemy.

To best make gold with a Slayer, you will need to be a good physical gamer. Your ability to respond to openings and slight time windows will make or break your gold earning potential. Be open to using strategy and take full advantage of any member of groups who can upgrade your already potent attack abilities. You will be a great addition to any party and this will mean lots of gold and loot!
