NBA 2K22 Release Date

NBA 2K22 arrives on Friday, 10 September 2021.

NBA 2K22 Cover Athletes

1). Standard Edition and Cross-Gen Digital Bundle

Luka Doncic, a two-time NBA All-Star in his three seasons in the league, will grace the cover of NBA 2K22's Standard Edition and Cross-Gen Digital Bundle. The background of the Standard Edition features the artwork of a shouting Doncic draped in thick brushstrokes of blue, white, and red — a nod to the flag of his native country, Slovenia.

2). NBA 75th Anniversary Edition

The 75th Anniversary Edition, celebrating the NBA's big birthday, will feature Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Dirk Nowitzki, and Kevin Durant in a star-studded cover.

3). WNBA 25th Anniversary Special Edition

A third edition of the game—the WNBA 25th Anniversary Special Edition—will be available only in the United States and Canada. It will have Chicago Sky forward and two-time WNBA MVP Candace Parker on the cover.

NBA 2K22's Platform Availability

The game will be available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One X, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

2). NBA 2K22 Standard Edition ($69.99) – PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S.

3). NBA 2K22 Cross-Gen Digital Bundle ($79.99) – Grants players access the Standard Edition across previous and new-gen within the same PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

4). NBA 2K22 NBA 75th Anniversary Edition ($99.99) – Dual-gen access is included for both the Cross-Gen Digital Bundle and NBA 75th Anniversary Edition for the PS4/PS5 and Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S platforms and provides a version of the game on each console generation within the same console family. The NBA 75th Anniversary Edition for Nintendo Switch will only be available in digital format in the EMEA region.
