Why we need it that way?

1. Set up Byom.de email attached as a recovery email will save a lot of waiting time.   
2. Customers don't need to be online for verification steps.

How to set up a Byom email and link it to your Xbox account.

1. Go to https://account.microsoft.com/ then Sign in with your own Xbox account.   
2. Find "Security" option on the website and click "Security dashboard".   
3. Find "Advanced security options" and press "Get started"

①. If you haven't linked an alternate email address

Enter an alternate email address ends with @byom.de   
(eg. My Xbox account is "[email protected]", so I will enter "[email protected]" as alternate email address.)

②. If you have linked an alternate email address already:   
Select "Add a new way to sign in or verify"→"Email a code"

5. After enter the alternate email address ends with @byom.de, you will need to enter the security code sent to your Byom email.

6. Go to https://www.byom.de/ then enter the email ends with byom.de(eg. [email protected])

7. Click "@byom.de" button, you can see the verification email from Microsoft account team

8. Click the email and security code is here.

9. Go back and enter the security code, linked successfully.

10. Send us your Xbox account and alternate email address to us.
