New Badges Coming in NBA 2K22

2K is adding new badges to NBA 2K22 that introduce 17 new options to the series in current and next-generation versions. Here are the 17 new badges in NBA 2K22, what they do, and paired with a player reference.

New NBA 2K22 Offensive Badges

The overall badge count is now at 80, thanks in part to 14 new offensive badges. Each badge is described below and paired with a player reference:

5	Unstrippable	Ability to secure the ball better when gathering for a layup/dunk in traffic	Kyrie Irving, Nets
6	Chef	Ability to knock down Steph-like off-dribble deep 3's	Stephen Curry, Warriors
7	Limitless Spot-Up	Ability to hit logo-range 3's off a catch and shoot	Damian Lillard, Blazers
8	Lucky #7	Boosts your ability to score when shooting early in the clock	James Harden, Nets
9	Mismatch Expert	Ability to successfully shoot over taller defenders on a switch	Irving
10	Glue Hands	Ability to make difficult catches and quicker branch out to a shot or dribble	Karl-Anthony Towns, T'Wolves
11	Hyperdrive	Boosts the speed and effectiveness of moving dribble moves	Ja Morant, Grizzlies
12	Quick Chain	Boosts the ability to quickly chain dribble moves together	Irving
13	Post Playmaker	Boosts the effectiveness of both shots and moves when playing in the post	Embiid
14	Triple Threat Juke	Increases the effectiveness of triple threat fakes, jabs, and go moves	LeBron James, Lakers
