With the ARC Raiders fifth Expedition opening, efficient looting is becoming more important for ARC Raiders players who want to build up their stash, complete projects and prepare for upcoming content. Rather than following one fixed route every raid, the better approach is to choose locations based on loot density, map conditions, extraction risk and the type of items you actually need.
The current version of ARC Raiders continues to use rotating Map Conditions, including Night Raid, Electromagnetic Storm, Hidden Bunker, Locked Gate and other special conditions. The official Map Conditions schedule can help players decide which map is worth running before deploying.
How to Build an Efficient Loot Route
A good loot route is not simply the path with the most containers. The goal is to collect valuable items while keeping enough time, space and resources to extract safely.
Prioritize:
Locked areas are particularly attractive because previous updates increased their loot value based on key rarity. That makes keys more valuable as part of a planned farming run rather than something to save indefinitely.
Buried City
Buried City remains a flexible choice for general-purpose runs. Areas such as the Hospital and Space Travel locations can provide strong loot opportunities, but popular locations also attract other Raiders.
For safer runs, avoid spending too much time fighting over the busiest areas. Grab accessible containers on the edge of a high-value zone, then rotate toward an extraction rather than pushing deeper just because your inventory still has room.
Best approach: General loot, crafting materials and controlled solo runs.
Dam Battlegrounds
Dam Battlegrounds is a good option when you want a balance between loot and manageable risk. The central high-value areas can become contested, so players looking for consistency should consider moving through less crowded sections instead of forcing every major location.
The key here is efficiency. If the first few buildings already give you useful materials, there is little reason to turn a profitable run into a long PvP fight.
Best approach: Consistent farming and lower-risk material runs.
Spaceport
Spaceport is better suited to players willing to accept greater competition for stronger loot opportunities. Launch Towers and other major facilities can be attractive targets, especially when the relevant Map Condition is active.
Because Spaceport can quickly become dangerous, bring enough mobility and healing resources to leave after securing your main objective.
Best approach: High-value runs when the map condition supports your target loot.
Blue Gate
Blue Gate rewards players who are comfortable exploring locked and underground areas. The Reinforced Reception and Checkpoint areas are useful targets, but the extra value comes with increased navigation and encounter risk.
If your objective is Blueprint or high-tier loot farming, don't clear every room automatically. Decide before the raid which container types and locations matter for your target, then leave once you have them.
Best approach: Targeted Blueprint and high-value loot runs.
Stella Montis
Stella Montis is one of the better choices when you are specifically looking for high-value loot. Locations such as Medical Research, Cultural Archives and Seed Vault can be strong targets, but they can also make you an obvious target for other players.
A safer strategy is to treat these locations as objectives rather than destinations for an entire raid. Loot quickly, avoid unnecessary fights and rotate toward extraction.
Best approach: Endgame loot and high-risk, high-reward runs.
Riven Tides
Riven Tides offers several strong loot areas, with Hotel Panorama Azzurro standing out as a particularly attractive target. The problem is that valuable locations naturally draw more Raiders.
Stacking Yard and other surrounding areas can provide alternatives when the main hotspot looks too dangerous. Riven Tides also has unique Map Conditions such as Beachcombing, which can change how the map should be approached.
Best approach: High-value coastal runs and condition-specific farming.
Blueprint Farming Tips
There is no single route that guarantees a Blueprint. Blueprint availability depends on the container type and current conditions, so farming should start with identifying the Blueprint you want.
Some important rules are:
Night Raid is still worth considering because the official game information confirms that it provides better loot while increasing the ARC threat. However, it should not automatically be treated as a guaranteed best Blueprint-drop condition.
Risk vs Reward
| Map | Loot Potential | Risk | Best Use |
| Buried City | High | Medium | General farming |
| Dam Battlegrounds | Medium-High | Medium | Consistent material runs |
| Spaceport | High | High | High-value farming |
| Blue Gate | High | Medium-High | Locked areas and Blueprints |
| Stella Montis | Very High | High | Endgame loot |
| Riven Tides | High | High | High-value locations |
The timing of your farming matters right now. At the same time, avoid burning through valuable gear simply to chase one more container.
ARC Raiders rewards players who know when to stop. Pick a target, choose the right map condition, loot efficiently and extract before greed turns a successful run into a loss.
With Frozen Trail also scheduled for October 8, there is plenty of reason to keep building your stash and refining your routes over the coming weeks.
